  1. Yes descriptions / dimensions are missing on some things like the Wall Flag. I'd be buying more but without knowing the size 🙄
  2. Thats a beauty Uncle. Birthday or just ongoing celebration?
  3. They are all champions in my eyes but here's a bit of data to mull over. Weighted average scores from the three finals. I usually add about 0.70 to Maxy to allow for his hit outs to advantage which would bring him into about 5th posi here and something a tad less for LJ. Say about 0.30 bringing him up to around 11th? 5. Nice. If you're in Melb can you PM me where i can get the Frame and cardboard pls? No pressure and if you can't be bothered I'll get it
  6. Love the red matt board Fork...who did your framing?
  7. Yep i ordered this in the aftermath excitement but having a bit of buyer remorse on this noout w as the black has too much of a the old enemy feel about it This is the one to get IMV. Would have preferred to order via our site but what to do
  8. Thanks DW. Lots of copying and pasting and double / triple checking. Pressure points are the weighted sum of pressure acts. And it would seem there might be a few different metrics that classify as an act as well vs just the one general (chasing) one i quoted earlier. Even more reluctant to go there after reading these 😄 The nuances are so slight with some of these Champion / other stats i sometimes wonder how any stats scorer (working for Champion) could actually keep up with it all in a live sense and do it accurately. Trolling through the tapes might help their cause here but crikey. Go to the 'P' section here if you want some clarification or possibly more confusion 😂 https://www.championdata.com/glossary/afl/
  9. Thanks Dimmy. I only use effective disposals as part of the weighted composite score not general disposals as i feel this is likely to be a better indicator of quality vs quantity. As for pressure acts they aren't readily available other than when the Sun reviews a match the day/days following in the paper. I could subscribe online or physically buy it every week i guess but don't want to lay $ out to the Sun just for one data set. I would happily add this (and other Champion data) into the mix if it was easier to obtain. For anyone interested here's the official version of Pressure Acts & 1%ers. 1%ers: Includes any of four metrics; a spoil, knock on, shepherd or a smother. Pressure Act (courtesy of championdata.com): Where a player applies pressure from behind an opponent by chasing. They must be gaining ground or applying pressure significant enough to hurry the ball carrier to dispose of the ball.
  10. Yes i agree Bing. BB also played a VG game and played a big role on the day. It's just that Fritta's accuracy in kicking those 6 plus getting us going late in the 3rd took him to another level in terms of the value? Inadvertently my comment about Fritta being well out in front is poorly worded as they were both solid contributors on the day with Fritta no doubt having a bit of a day out in terms of making the most of his opportunities.
  11. Can't argue with that Bing. The importance of those six goals and the timing / manner in which he kicked them certainly deserved more kudos and a higher placing on this table. Highlights the limitations of relying on stats alone. They just can't tell the full story on match day nor do they capture it all much of the time. As i always say, watch the game carefully and only go to stats as a bit of a by-play to see what your eyes / memory might have missed at times. There are of course good stats and rubbish stats going in to a player's output / ratings on game day especially most of the publicly available ones used here. Some players can have half as many as another yet still have a much more significant impact due to the quality of them. I guess Harmes and Kozzie are reasonable examples here. Neither you would say were in the league of the top 5 or 6 but boy some of the little cameos they brought on the day were immense and don't necessarily show up on the tables with regard to how much they're input impacted. Some of Kozzie's pessure acts had significant impact resulting in turnovers on the day with some resulting in goals to our boys. Harmes was also impacting with his relentless attack on the ball and opponents through pressure acts which aren't captured here (aside from tackles). And how do you place a value on that clean take from a disputed loose ball out of the pack at HF by Harmes, kicking it lace out to the fat side of Fritta for the first come back goal around the 11 minute mark of the third? Part of this play is included in this table (the effective disposal, the score involvement) but not the clean nature of the gather, the power of the burst from the pack, nor the weight of the kick to hit Fritta lace out giving us the best chance to score. Nor the pressure of the scoreboard and time remaining that required excellence all round from both players! These are the nuances of the game that we love and that stats can never fully account for. But to get to part of your question as well. How does it happen in these tables. Well Benny kicked three as we know. But he also accumulated roughly the same number of score involvements (8 vs Fritta 9), four one percenters (Fritta 0), one tackle (Fritta 0), two contested marks (Fritta 0) and one intercept (Fritta 0). Basically Benny made up ground on Fritta's extra goals (statistically in these tables only) by adding value in other areas. However, watching the game, we all know who was well out in front on the day in terms of how much he impacted the game and also the mere fact that 6 goals in a GF is an immense achievement on it's own. Hope that helps explain things a tad Bing.
  12. Bump...anyone who hasn't done so already i would highly recommend the synced MMM version feat Dennis Cometti. It's a beauty. Thanks again to DIO
  13. I believe the premium member's one as its limited to 1,000 but who knows
  14. Haha that's very optimistic WC and why not. Yes taking one set to a printers to laminate. It's the only way it will remain in one piece
  15. If anyone is really keen on the HUN bumper stickers there's still some left overs at select newsagents. The good ones will just hand them over if you ask
  16. Yep got 5 sets so i can stand him on his own shoulders for an Andre the giant version
  17. Very sad to hear. My first recollection of going to the G and watching the Demons in 1971 was Greg walking out on the field to take his place at CHF. Couldn't miss his blonde locks but what always stuck in my mind as an eight YO at the time was the ciggy in hand, having a few puffs then butting it out not long before the ball was bounced! The other names that stuck in my young head around this time included Ross Dillon, Greg Wells, Stan Alves, Gary Hardeman, John Tilbrook (big wraps from my big brother was like the coming of the messiah!), Townsend, Crackers Keenan (i seriously thought he was a mad man and wondered how someone like this was allowed to play), Ray Biffin (not far off Crackers!), Barry Bourke, Tony Sullivan and Graham Molloy. What also stuck in my head at the time was that our supporter base was pretty darn big, to the point that we had two lots of cheer squads. A large one that hung around the Punt Rd boundary (forward pocket i think) and another up in the top tier of the southern stand. Vale Greg may you R.I.P. What a pitty he didn't get to see us win this. Or maybe he did!
  18. Was a key "missing link". I always felt we weren't far off a GF, just needed to fill a few gaps including a KTF like a Cameron. Benny proved to be as handy and did the job required to aplomb. Mind you the extra mid-season pre-seaaon seemed to help! Looking forward to seeing how he goes next year with no pre-seaaon interruptions. He makes for a very difficult match up for opponents. Conversion % is super good also making the most of opportunities.
  19. Yes same 😅 Some amazing pictures in this. The special edition with yesterday's HUN isn't bad either
  20. Thanks mate I'll head over at some point
  21. Thanks Joe do you sell the frames on their own at all or only do the framing?
  22. Half way through the post match again. Can't get enough of the post match stuff & the joy on everyone's faces, plus the interviews 😁
  23. It's up there with one of my favourite moments from the match. Young Dogga chasing him down with the the broadest of grins while cool hand Clarry continues on to the next rompa stompa through the middle. The other was Harmes stealing the ball from a bewildered Bailey Smith just outside the arc, bursting free of the pack and hitting up Fritschkreig with a beautiful raking kick lace out for the 1st come back goal after Bont had put them 19 points up. This is etched in my memory and will remain with me as one of the greatest moments in MFC folklore. As if my man crush on Harmes wasn't big enough already! What a legend.
