Underground handballs
Think again DS Doc's explanation of time travel in "Back to the Future" tells us that the "underground" handball is not only plausible but may well transcend time and stop the game for a nano second, thereby confusing oncoming opponent and providing receiver with more time to assess and gather...

Chandler yes Kozzy will be fine. Choco just needs a quiet word imv re speckies (ok once in a while / timing?) vs on ground crumbing and pressure (obviously more of that pls). Plus pls take all your time with set shots, especially round the corners. No need to rush. Its also a set up thing to ensure he is floating out the back for the occasional joe-the- goose as we saw last night on one occasion. Seems to be a touch player as well. Worth getting him involved in the middle early on in a match if he looks a bit off??

Nice DS but would play Harmes in the Hunter role. He's ready to go imv and ideal for this type of 'managed' scenario. Harmes is a solid runner, decent link up player and strong in the contest. He is also good with hands. Average to ok by foot. Not that strong overhead. Very similar to Hunter imo.

Isn't the 5 meter rule only for the player on the mark? So if player on the mark decides to take the "outside 5" option, then yes, he and or Lever gets pinged if they come closer to the mark. Mind you ive seen players do this (take the outside 5 with umpire calling it such) then he runs up to the mark after that..... no free!! So if player taking the mark is on the mark then how is another player sitting behind him infringing? He is not the player on the mark. Surely the rule only applies to that one player on the mark? (unless the outside 5 rule's been envoked).

His first game back was pretty good just didnt hit the scoreboard. Those marking attempts hmm. Stay on the ground in the hunt. Rushes his banana attempts at goal and has missed most of those since returning. Not sure if he played any mid field minutes yesterday (cant recall seeing much of him there) but looked ok through there (at times) in other games this year. Need to get him involved and some touches and short mid field minutes wouldn't hurt surely. Swap Viney to Kozzy's role when running Kozzie through the middle?

There were times i thought our zone at HF (the Tige's HB line) was too loose tonight. Maybe earlier in the game though. Kozzie in particular. 1 v 1 s ...in the first 30? Love to see that. Not saying we didnt. Would need to brave the replay also. Don't think i could handle going back over it as the umps and some of our muck ups left me with alot less hair at the ground already.

A number of Doggies used this to aplomb in their 2016 premiership year. Probably more about execution. Was ANB also using it tonight? Sparrow?

The "some work needed" was my call at about half way through the third for him to hit the gym and bulk up / get his strength up a bit more Mono as he was getting pushed around a bit too easily early on from what i was witnessing. I did also say he was good for a speckie from behind and called for Max to go forward. But yes hand up, the comment on Rooh was (in the main) proven to be a shocker in the end.

May's been consistent for two full years till the last two or three matches. Let's remember he's coming off a calf. Reckon the FD are just managing him with light duties to make sure its fully healed and/or get a managed "off" week into him if we can get say Disco in to cover and Pettty back. There are so many things we are unaware of that go on inside the four walls. Watching him at the Captain's run on Friday there appeared to be a genuine attempt to keep him out of any heavy contact work in the defensive drills. Have faith and add a bit of time plus maybe a 'managed' week off and i reckon he'll come good again at some stage.
