  1. Me neither All his info comes from some Gold Coast player who makes mediocre pasta on TikTok
  2. I would literally burn the club down if we accept this deal Pick 7+8 is gonna be hard to swallow but 7+15 is just GC sh!tt!ng in our hand and telling us to clap
  3. Happy wife = more time to post the tea on Demonland
  4. Do you get the sense that it’s Humphrey’s last resort option? Even threatening to do it will help move the needle We have to start throwing gas on the fire
  5. This is the most exciting thing we’ve seen from the Dees all year
  6. Nothing alike because we are losing Trac and Humphrey is the best possible outcome Houston was a nice to have in a side sliding down and giving up picks in a hot draft was a risky choice Getting Humphrey has zero risk attached when the return is a disgruntled 30 year old diva who will leave regardless
  7. Well in the last 2 years alone Lamb has managed to get both Houston and Humphrey on the hook If both those trades fall thru you can 1000% blame Petracca and not Lamb And had we got Houston everyone would be melting down what a waste of picks he was because he’s not that good Edit: Grundy was good get. It has nothing to do with Lamb that it didn’t work out. He gets told to get players. He got Grundy for peanuts and Collingwood are still paying him
  8. JT would be the ones asking Lamb to trade picks so we can move up the draft If you don’t like the Kolt pick up, you need to talk to Taylor not Lamb about that We had a strategic plan to bring top end talent in and that meant trading out of the second and third rounds I don’t necessarily support that strategy but it’s one that was decided and signed off on by a lot more people than Lamb
  9. They don’t need Curnow as much as they need Trac
  10. What proof do people attacking Lamb have that he isn’t negotiating the best deal? We could have done a trade for Trac and Clarry last week Lamb is 100% digging in his heels re: BH and Trac But BH is contracted so he can only do so much
  11. Indeed A trade for someone the caliber of Trac would need sign off from the CEO and the board If this deal goes thru for picks, it’s because people far higher than Lamb have said OK to it The naivety that Lamb just does whatever he wants is wild
  12. Probably The only lever we can pull is saying we have a new coach and CEO and we are backing them in to fix the relationship Unfortunately Trac has, once again, totally burnt us with his public and private statements As much as I don’t want us to accept picks only for him, I want that man and his circus back in town even less This Trac fueled drama will not end until he gets what he wants, which is to leave our club
  13. My guesses are 1- his manager is a nobody and doesn’t want to burn bridges with clubs as he has to power 2- Humphrey doesn’t think GC will budge regardless, so doesn’t want to burn his bridges at GC or harm his reputation At the end of the day Trac has screwed us with publicly committing to a club after last year trying to set the club on fire
  14. I don’t think picks have been discussed from our end. It’s what GC is proposing and what the media is parroting. If Humphrey was not an option, in that he refused to be involved in the trade, it would be a completely different story and we would have done a deal for picks However he is keen and willing, so we can’t cave But as you say everyone in the industry knows the club can’t keep Trac. That relationship is untenable.
  15. We finally agree on something
  16. Players don’t nominate a club unless they know a deal can be done Or they’re Trac and they don’t give a stuff and just want to force the hand that feeds them
  17. If that was the case this deal would have already been done We can absolutely go public and hint that Humphrey has valid reasons to return to Victoria and that GC are being unreasonable in not accepting his request, despite it being their right However Trac has no valid reasons to move to the GC beyond being a diva, so tough [censored]
  18. We need to call their bluff Lamb needs to publicly say tomorrow that we look forward to Trac being in red and blue next year as it appears GC are not forthcoming with giving us appropriate compensation for him in a trade And tell CAC to call us when he and Dimma are willing to trade Humphrey
  19. Who is feeding Twomey I wonder It’s the same thing over and over from the media I am so mad that Humphrey has such a small town loser manager and not one of the big boys
  20. I admire the commitment to posting on the toilet tho @Demon Forever
  21. He’s busy
  22. I agree. The media silence re Bailey is a major worry
