  1. Silvagni is out with concussion. Will miss next week.
  2. Gawn will have to drop back to help. We certainly can’t be giving up 17 clearances to them tho.
  3. Come on Blues.... ... I’ll see myself out
  4. I would give Gawn a week off against Carlton. It allows him to freshen up. Weideman can come in for a game. Jackson and Tmac can take the ruck work and Brown can ruck up forward with Weideman.
  5. Viney plays the defensive role. It’s why I wanted Sparrow to play because this is also where he excels.
  6. The Toby Greene of Sydney. A total [censored].
  7. Ummm he missed last week and this week and has another 7 days until our next game. How is that not equal to 2 weeks?
  8. If Viney is fit he will play. Trac may miss with that corky. That’s a lot of thigh to cork.
  9. Clarry had 10 clearances. BOG with Tmac and May. Agree on the rest.
  10. Our Centre clearance work this season has been woeful. We need Viney back and we need Gawn to either learnt to do a better job tapping to advantage or we need to play Jackson in there as he wins his own ball.
  11. Ummm he was leading the 1%, he held Buddy goalless. I bet he will feature strongly in the coaches votes. He. Is. A. Star.
  12. Completely agreed. Key defenders take time. He will be a good player. Be patient.
  13. We are better when Jackson is rucking.
  14. Has someone checked if Weideman is ok? Must be swearing at the TV every time Tommy goes near it ? I loath playing Sydney. We played their way the whole game and still won! Just brilliant.
  15. He’s having a mare.
  16. Gawn into the middle and we lose all momentum. Jackson has to ruck out the game.
  17. I know. I hate playing them. It’s never a good game. Even when (rarely) we win. They are so frustrating to watch. I wanna unleash on my Sydney mate and tell her to stop ruining football for everyone... but I’m waiting to win first
  18. Fritta has to get his [censored] together. He’s all over the shop. Clearances. Clearances. Clearances. It’s the only way to get Sydney to stop riding our arses
  19. Sydney are such a bore. I would hate to support such a boring team. I hate playing them for this exact reason. They grind you down. Missed too many opportunities in front of goal. Should be 4 goals up.
  20. Centre clearances are a big issue. We won’t win this game if we can’t start controlling the play thru there. Sydney is loving this rolling zone rubbish. Whenever we broke free of them off the back we scored.
  21. Hahaha it’s not even cold you Queenslander. It’s a very mild night.
  22. Sure. But North were on the same flight. So unless they all live at the airport, they had the same preparation on top of flying back from Perth the week before and the whole Covid isolation thing. It is a poor excuse for last week.
  23. Melksham’s wife had a baby this morning. Could he be a late out? I mean it’s not like he did anything in the birthing process...
  24. Low confidence today. This is going to be a big game. We looked exhausted last week, but I suppose we also only played about 25 minutes of proper pressure footy, so maybe that was our rest. A loss is inevitable at some point. Tonight could be the night. I worry about having both ends of the ground not fully settled yet with injuries and new key players coming in. And without Viney our midfield is very susceptible to losing clearances. It’s going to be a bloody good win if we can pull it off.
  25. Not sure a player who has won multiple finals off his own boot can be described as a downhill skier.
