When you draw against the 17th team on the ladder playing infants while you are fighting it out for first, umpires are not the problem. Yes umpiring was putrid, but welcome to 2021. We have only ourselves to blame. We played lazy and our pressure was well down. We also fumbled badly and couldn’t win a ground ball. Tackling was non existent and we again blew easy shots on goal. This is what led to the result. Not poor umpiring.

Few teams would have the financial luxury of a goal kicking coach after the brutal budget cuts as a result of Covid. We do however have Mark Williams. Surely he can fix this debacle?

Viney needs to go. He is making our midfield too defensive and he’s a liability with ball in hand and can’t get off the ground fast enough to defend. I don’t think we need another inside mid to replace him, especially with Vanders playing well enough to justify getting another game next week. Maybe Melksham can help us hit a target going inside 50, but most likely he just won’t do anything for 98 minutes. I am guessing no change. Edit: lol at people suggesting we drop Brown. Literally the least of our problems. Had a better game than Tmac.
