I don’t give Essendon much chance. Could be wrong but don’t see the Dogs losing 4 in a row nor losing to Essendon twice in a month. I reckon Dogs will do a job on them.

He would never get a game in our team. That he keeps getting a game at Brisbane shows their poor depth. Culturally he’s a cancer. I mean he’s also a crap player which doesn’t help. Absolutely. Greene is a grub and a thug and I hate him but he’s a sensational player. Top 5 in the AFL when he’s on song.

I don’t really understand how anyone could sack a coach who’s won 10 flags. Like literally I would be in favor of giving Goodwin a 15 year contract if he just wins us one! Just one!

100%. With 5 minutes left I was just counting down the clock telling players to not go in too hard. A last minute injury would have ruined the entire game. Smart move to protect our best and most important players. We know May has had soreness. We know Gawn and Clarry get smashed every week and Clarry copped a big hit during the game. It was the right thing to do!

Nailed it. ANB did such an important job on Rich and was very good himself with ball in hand.

I sent in a WA border exemption application this week. Under reason for request I selected medical. In notes I wrote “if I don’t get to see Melbourne win a flag I’ll die. This is a matter of life and death”. I will let you know if Mark gets back to me.

WA was generous enough to give us permission to bring over 75 people. Such kind souls. Anyways the club obviously prioritized players over extra support staff which I think is wonderful. Ben Gibson doing the water boy work is hilarious. Just shows how insane Covid has been that people are doing so many roles just to get the games done.

We didn’t even play our best. Second quarter we looked deadly, but we can play better. Certainly not our best night in defense and yet…

I’m very relaxed in the knowledge that Brisbane tried being tough guys but got taught a lesson. Yet again.

Big big difference in that incident. Firstly that was in play and Neale was wanting to show the umpire that he was bleeding hence deserved a free. He didn’t walk up to the umpire at a break, point a finger at him, have a chat to him and then on purpose touch him. It’s not hard for Greene to avoid contact but he chose to make it and then continues to carry on like a pork chop. It’s a bad look for the game. It’s super disrespectful and there is no need for it. If players don’t respect the umpires at this level, you won’t get respect for umpires at any level. Gotta stamp that out!

He would be relishing a week off. Also if any umpire ever watched any contest he’s involved in, he’d get 10 frees a week. Brisbane are thugs. Bog ordinary players just out there smashing bodies instead of trying to win the footy.

There are a lot of punchable heads in the AFL. But this guy is not only a complete nuffy he’s also a bloody average footballer. At least Toby Greene is a gun.

Personally the Mark Neeld years were easier on my anxiety. I knew we would lose every week. There was no finals stress.

There is no chance Salem was on Cameron. Salem hasn’t done a lock down defensive role all year. Why the fudge would he start in a final against one of the best small forwards in the game? If he was near him at times it’s due to team defense and Smith losing the man in the contest.

There’s a reason we didn’t bother shutting him down. He was so ineffective. Zorko having no impact was the key to us winning. Closely followed by Rich.

Goodwin said in his presser that “most” players had a good night and he also noted that Hunt is very likely to come into selection consideration which means they have a some thinking to do. Very obvious Hunt is in if fit for Smith.

A very impressive win against a very good side. Viney did a sensational job on Zorko who had 0 score involvements. Sparrow was terrific. ANB did a great job on Rich. Jackson and Rivers so composed under pressure. Fritta brilliant. Gus was excellent. They tried to play down his wing and it backfired. And of course my man Oliver. What a star. He is a genuine freak. Two games away from becoming an all time great for this club.
