  1. Hogan gave us May and it worked out very well for us. Iโ€™m genuinely happy for Hogan. It was never going to work out for him at Melbourne. Nothing worth lamenting.
  2. If you want to end up with 3 broken ribs maybe
  3. I just spoke to my friend who is a GP and she said 6 weeks for 3 ribs.
  4. How the actual [censored] does one have multiple broken ribs and maybe a broken vertebrae and only miss up to two games? ๐Ÿ˜ณ If that was me Iโ€™d be out for 10-15 years.
  5. If he only misses one game at most that is a very very good result, considering half of Demonland was melting down that heโ€™s done his ACL ๐Ÿ™„
  6. Iโ€™ve genuinely never had issues with Hawks fans beyond being arrogant when they were a powerhouse side, which I donโ€™t think is unusual for any supporter group. However on the train ride home yesterday, a bunch of highly intoxicated meathead Hawks fans were incredibly aggressive and abusive to the Melbourne fans, including the kids around them. Dropping f bombs, threatening to beat up anyone who told them to be quiet etc. It was disgusting and downright scary behaviour. I was relieved they got off the train soon after my dad did or I would have removed myself and waited for another train. In 2024 I would think this type of [censored] would be reserved only for the lowest of Collingwood scums, but apparently not. Havenโ€™t felt this unsafe since the Pies final last year. Not ok!
  7. Heโ€™s less of a tool in yellow and brown. It helps that heโ€™s no longer being egged on by a bunch of halfwits in the stands. Although my train ride home was incredibly unpleasant thanks to a pack of drunk Hawks fans aggressively swearing and chanting profanities against the Melbourne fans on the train. Absolute morons.
  8. I was behind the goals and 100% that was touched well before the line. It wasnโ€™t a goal and a review was not needed.
  9. I was behind the goals and so I saw him quite a bit at both ends. He looked ok to me. He wasnโ€™t his usual self at ground level, but for someone coming back from one of the most serious injuries you can have, and with little pre season, he looked ok. I think May and Lever going down didnโ€™t help our plan to possibly sub him off. He will be better for the run.
  10. Really? He looked pretty good to me. Shame he missed those two early shots on goal. He slotted nicely down back too.
  11. Iโ€™m more disappointed that McAdams is still not fit and Turner is injured.
  12. I reckon his footy life has been pretty good to date and $1million a year would make it even better.
  13. Why? He may prefer to play defense. Adelaide are wanting him to play down there.
  14. Slap yourself twice for saying that beating Hawthorn by over 50 points is nothing to get satisfied about. Need I remind you that it wasnโ€™t long ago that they were smashing us and we were the dreadful side? Never take success for granted.
  15. We have a choice to make. We either push Petty back to defense, or we persevere with our ideal forward set up and hope for the best with a backline of Tomlinson, McDonald and Hore as the talls. God speed.
  16. His goal celebration was putrid given his side was getting destroyed. Smells like Ginnivin 2.0.
  17. That second quarter was Hawthorn giving everything they had to shut the contest down, after realizing their only option was to keep the margin of their loss to a minimum. But playing all out defense is never sustainable against a side that is smashing you in contested possessions and clearances and when you donโ€™t have the forwardline nor the disposal skills to punish the opposition on turnover. Theyโ€™d be very disappointed that they managed only one goal with May and Lever both off the ground. They are hot garbage and it gives me great pleasure to watch them get destroyed.
  18. Because he actually played in his role as an inside mid. Salem didnโ€™t play midfield today at all.
  19. I knew heโ€™d do much more rucking. We needed to give Gawn more breaks as we head into 2 games in 5 days. I love how he competes at ground level, and frankly it gets him involved. Itโ€™s definitely not the worst thing for him. Thought he played well. And how important it is for him to have Ben Brown to take the space behind him when heโ€™s inside 50.
  20. Did they send him to do run throughs last time? There is a very specific ACL test they do. Itโ€™s either negative, positive or inconclusive like it was with Gawn last year. An inconclusive test would be treated as an ACL.
  21. How bad is our medical team that they would send a player with a suspected ACL to do run throughs and strap him up hoping he can get back on, in round 3 ๐Ÿ™„
  22. Fritta making Sicily wish he was suspended, is worth 6 votes
  23. Lever has not done his knee ffs. Heโ€™s got it strapped and doing run throughs. In what world do you treat an ACL with some strapping and a run thru? ๐Ÿ™„ They probably wonโ€™t risk him. Could be a low grade medial.
