Completely agree. We need to keep Weideman and we need to start rewarding him. It’s just hard when McDonald is in blinding form not seen since 2018. Nobody expected it. I don’t think Melbourne expected it. My only knock on Weideman is he’s quite poor defensively, which is why I think he hasn’t played seniors yet. Really needs to do more when he doesn’t win the ball.

On track to kick 10 today... how do you not reward that?

I don’t actually feel sorry for them. I’m sure they rather play seconds for a strong team than play for a side like Norf.

If we don’t get Weideman into the senior side, he will go to Collingwood and be a star ?

I feel very sorry for some of these kids. They’re playing so well, clearly too good for this level, but good luck getting a game. Chandler, Bradford, Weideman, Sparrow, not to mention Harmes and Jetta are all AFL quality players. If they played for North they’d be playing senior footy every week. I suppose that’s the downside of being a bloody good side. Majak playing well. Good luck getting a game ahead of Gawn, Jackson, McDonald, Brown and Weideman tho son ?

Haven’t heard May say a bad word about Gold Coast since he left. Same can’t be said for Howe. Howe has carried himself like a [censored] since he left us.

I had a cheeky look at flights to Darwin. Absolute lol at the prices of flights in Australia. I could fly overseas for less... except I can’t fly overseas ?

Hunt and #Positivelingers have the best hair in the competition. I will hear no bad things about it.

I think he is a very good player, but he would struggle to get a game in our team, so why spend money on aging surplus? He basically plays the exact same role as Lever, except Lever is 6 years his junior and a far superior on field leader. There are far better options out there if we are looking to add players to our list at the end of the season.

He might be just as motivated by success than money you know.

If you told me 12 months ago I'll be cheering for Ben Brown I would have told you to get stuffed. One of my most disliked player from my most disliked team. But gees I really like him now in red and blue. Speak so well, amazing goal kicker, and how about that marvellous hair!

I mean all those games are trash except Dogs vs Melbourne. The other 3 will be complete wash overs. So naturally it'll be Collingwood v Geelong.

I reckon that means the week prior, our game against the Dogs will also probably be a Friday night match (we play Adelaide on Saturday afternoon the week prior in Adelaide).

Great decision. Firstly he’s the only player on the list to have won a game at that ground. Secondly he’s the only player on the list who I would want kicking for goal to save my life. Thirdly he’s too good to play for a VFL team. My kingdom for a forward no more!

What the hell do people want? I for one don’t want to hear from the president unless something really good (home base) or really bad (sacking) is going on. Quiet achievers at board level suit me just fine. Not everyone wants to be an Eddie or a Kennett. Some people just go about their business without being flogs.

It really doesn’t matter what you pay for a player, if they end up fulfilling the role you recruited them for. Lever is a genuine A grade defender and we have built an entire team around him and May. Sometimes you have to pay overs to get what you need, because it’s a hard find, and sometimes you get really lucky and pay unders like we did with Langdon. Swings and roundabouts.
