They are all over us and we are actually winning clearances. Worrying signs. Weideman has to do more.

I agree but Lockhart is just back from injury and Jetta has credits in the bank and he deserves a go. I think he will play a shut down role and we will release Rivers to play a more attacking role. We obviously knew Salem was in doubt so I’m sure they have a plan.

You would hope so given they gave him until today to prove his fitness. But you never know these days. Groin injuries are never simple.

A lot less confident now without Salem. Especially if we don’t win the clearances again. So much of our offensive play comes thru Salem.

Hopefully not a case of precautionary 2 weeks that turns into 6 like Viney ?

I’ve had to remove myself from the house and keep busy. This level of comfort pre game is giving me anxiety ?

In an ideal world this is an easy win and in the last quarter when we are 10 goals up we rest May, Langdon, Oliver and Gawn ahead of next weeks Dogs game. In reality they’ll probably start hot and come out strong like all teams have against us this year. We will take time to adjust and then probably run over the top of them in the last quarter and win by 4-6 goals. Either way if we can get to 10-0 today we have set ourselves up beautifully for what is about to become a very hard second half of the season. We play arguably the two best sides in the competition over the next two weeks, us aside. Certainly the Lions are in cracking form!

Doesn’t look like it. The photo Gus posted showed many randoms on the virgin flight and a distinct lack of face masks ?

They are definitely a better side than Norf, who we struggled to beat away from the G. Luckily we play Adelaide Oval very well. I think Lever would have some good tips for our backline to defend Walker, and while every game is losable, I think we have enough guys in the team who are under pressure to perform really well that we should win (think Weideman, Harmes, Melksham). It may not be pretty, but I think we should get the job done. A nice sunny day on the cards too which will make for a lovely change from the wet miserable [censored] we've played in the last few weeks.

Unless you are colour blind, that is not a clash. What a joke. To be honest though, it seems more appropriate to wear it against the Lions in our game up in the territory.
