Goodwin, Jackson, Pickett, Sparrow, Petty & Neal-Bullen All Out with COVID
100% correct. He lives with this partner in Kew. Clarry has also bought a house and lives with his partner. Neither of those boys live with Jackson and Pickett. Jackson and Pickett used to live with the Brayshaw's but have moved out together. I don't know if Rivers lives with them as well.

Goodwin, Jackson, Pickett, Sparrow, Petty & Neal-Bullen All Out with COVID
Yep and Lever was meant to be there today. At the end of the day every club has and will be impacted by Covid. Itâs best to have it happen now and get it going thru the club than come finals. The players and coaches infected during the season should have decent immunity up until the end of the season now which is good. Of course nobody wants Covid and I suspect the recent issue with Wines is probably a post Covid issue as the exact same thing has happened to my friend post Covid. But itâs 2022 and we need to get used to this new reality. At least we have guys at Casey who are dying to take their chances at senior level.

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
With Goodwin out there is no doubt that Lever and Viney being experienced on field leaders will be a welcomed addition to the side. The boys have risen to every challenge and this should be no different. You know your roles and you know your game, just stick to it and back each other.

Heavenly football father, please continue to bless our list with health. Amen.

I think itâs because they live together. But I hope youâre right.

COACHES VOTES: Round 6, 2022
I didn't think Trac deserved votes for his game. But what do I know.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Correct. When you are the best FB in the league by the length of the Flemington straight, it's ok if you make a mistake. Also the correlation between May making mistakes and Smith being in the side are not lost on anyone.

JAKE BOWEY APPRECIATION THREAD.
Wouldnât surprise me if Bowey ends up on a wing. He just needs to build his endurance. I am so impressed by his hardness considering heâs 12kg soaking wet. I suppose when youâre next to May you would feel invincible.

Low Attendance
If Hawks put on a good showing today I think yes. Depends on weather but I suggest it could be a strongly attended Sunday fixture. MCC will be packed. Will be so interesting to see how the game against the Saints goes. Itâs Motherâs Day and Sunday 1:10 slot which is never good. But it could be 1 vs 2. We might possibly get more than 30k to that one!

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
Every week this thread has some wild predictions. Have supporters not learnt yet that we will always make minimal changes, even if forced, it will always be like for like and we will NEVER drop players who play their role well even if you think Kosi and Spargo should be kicking 4 goals a game or Neal Bullen should be going at 100% DE. Just because you personally donât see the value our lesser lights bring to the side, doesnât mean you swing the axe wildly for absolutely no reason. Cohesion and continuity is one of the most important things required to win a flag. By backing our system and our players we have become a team so high in confidence and belief. You donât throw that out the window because you think someone at Casey would do better than Kosi for a mere moment.

Low Attendance
Great attendance last night. Perfect weather helps. I would say 40/60 split the way of the Tigers. It was obvious once we won as the stands were more than half empty which was fun to watch.

AFL Friend or Foe
Anyone who knows me will tell you that if a genie granted me 3 wishes, I would wish for wealth, health and the total destruction of the Geelong football club. I hate that club with the fire of a thousand suns.

22-0 or 21-1
We will drop games and it wonât be a bad thing. We reset so well after challenges I almost feel that once we drop one we will go to another level. Besides I have no doubt that if ladder position allows, we will ramp up training halfway through the year which will likely see us drop a few games in preparation for finals. Itâs just what we did last year. I also wouldnât put it past us to drop a game against our most likely rival in the lead up to finals. I think we were happy to drop a game to the Dogs in the later part of last season.

Correct. Being dominant is all well and good but unless you win flags itâs pointless. Essendon dominant and won just one flag. Gotta make sure we donât waste this opportunity.

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Hawks winning is better for us because Sydney is a bigger threat. I also want the players to go into next week knowing that we have to really go hard as Hawks are not a walkover.

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
Smith has to play from behind. He gets so lost in the play if he canât see his opponent and then run and jump to spoil or mark. He is too much of a liability down back. Reminds me of Frost. The agony and the ecstasy. Would probably be a regular at 17 other clubs. But at Melbourne if youâre not an A grade defender youâre gonna struggle to hold your spot. Hunt did a stellar job on Bolton who is a weapon. Could be important at stopping someone like Charlie Cameron who killed us in the semi final last year. If he can tidy up his ball use he might just stay.

There were whispers pre game he may be a late out. Perhaps under an injury cloud?

Why do you say that? Injury concern?

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
But thatâs what you do when youâre trying to keep the game close so you might get a chance to win. Who have we played so far that had a chance in hell of beating us playing their own game? Dogs maybe, but after last year they were terrified and rightly so.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Itâs because teams are [censored] scared of losing so they go into ultra defensive mode, making games a total bore fest. We arenât challenged so we just put on a clinic for 10 minutes and carry on with the win. GWS are lazy and gave up after halftime so that was fun. I bet that when we play the Saints in 2 weeks itâll be a totally different game. Good sides will back their system in. We havenât played a side yet who would have gone into the game backing themselves to win it with their own game. Also who cares how we play in April if we keep winning. Last year we also won by small margins but winning was a novelty so you went back and watched that 25 point win and was like âwow a winâ. Now youâre like âI watched us kick 3 goals in 46 seconds once. Iâm boredâ

No doubt. But to win when youâre playing imperfect footy is very important. Things canât always go your way.
