  1. We tried using it to auto generate web descriptions for our online stores, and it was not great... a lot of hilarious errors.
  2. We tend to travel with a big group when we do interstate trips, and make it a team building building experience. Could explain our impeccable interstate record lately.
  3. Agreed. With the right guidance and coaching and leadership he could have been anything. But it wasn’t to be and he gave us the best medium forward in the competition so 🤷‍♀️
  4. That’s because we are better than you mate
  5. I agree with you. Brisbane are a better side than the Dogs, and I rate their medium and small forwards as some of the best in the league. While their midfield is a bit one dimensional, it is still a very strong contested midfield, and without the pace of Kosi it makes us more vulnerable. This won't be an easy game, but we are a better side than they are and we should win this if we play at our best.
  6. I personally can't wait to taste the bitter tears of Geelong fans when they finally fall off a cliff. Delicious!
  7. This. The only reason they beat us is because we were physically broken. Even their fans know it. We should destroy them, and Viney needs to LEGALLY send Zorko that small annoying piece of human excrement into next week.
  8. Agreed. West Coast are hot garbage. Let's not get carried away because Norf barely beat them. Freo will destroy Norf.
  9. Our favourite opposition player Dayne Zorko might be back this week... Viney licking his lips
  10. This injury list makes me extremely nervous
  11. Woah woah woah, nobody is saying JVR can't be great or better than TMac. But TMac plays a very specific role, a role that requires elite endurance. JVR is two years in, his endurance is not at TMac's level. In fact, even with 10 pre seasons under his belt he probably won't have TMac's endurance, which is at the top level of AFL players league wide. Very few players his size can cover the same KMs he covers in a game. It's also why someone like ANB, who isn't the most polished perfect footballer going around, is a best 18 player for us. The ground he covers at top speed is elite and nobody on our list can play that role because nobody has the aerobic capacity to do so. Our entire forward set up fell apart like a cheap suit when TMac got injured last year. Not because he is the greatest marking and goal kicking forward going around, but because he is a very disciplined role player who rarely loses an aerial contest and can get to contest after contest. While I thought he was just ok on Saturday night, what he did is allow Ben Brown and Gawn to play deeper while he was able to neutralise the aerial contests on the wing. He also does some forward rucking, and he gives us the ability to cover a tall defender if one goes down mid game. These are things that will take JVR a long time to perfect, no matter how good a player he can be at AFL level. I think he will get games this year, as he should, and I think he has the potential to be the next Tmac (and hopefully better), but we are not a club that has to play the messiah card anymore. We have lots of good players, which means any youngsters coming through can come in with no pressure and just slowly learn their craft as needed.
  12. I don't think he'd be available for selection at any level if they thought he's at risk of further injury. VFL or AFL, you would not take chances on your best forward 2 years running if you suspected his foot might blow up. We have enough players with dodgy feet thanks.
  13. I would suggest all of Tmac, Gawn and Ben Brown will get rested at various stages throughout the year. We play North and Hawks twice and West Coast. While no game is an easy one, you can take your chances against lower sides to rest your best and oldest players.
  14. I will bet my bottom dollar that he doesn't fly to Perth in round 4 and JVR gets to make his debut in front of family and friends. Fairly surely we can take on West Coast without TMac and still win.
  15. I agree with this. I think if we hadn't lost Kosi we might play Fritta at Casey, but because Kosi is out they might play him closer to goal just for some added goal kicking power. We did get 4 goals out of Kosi on Saturday, and IMO only Fritta is capable of consistently producing those numbers. Viney will then replace Kosi's midfield minutes. If Tommo had a stinker you would rush May in. But given he had such a wonderful game, and that Brisbane play two talls who are hit and miss, I would leave him in and give May another week and avoid the long flight. Salem needs time the VFL. We have no need to rush him. Bowey is a gun, you got Gus down there helping out and McVee deserves another game based off that debut.
  16. No chance all 4 play. Salem will have to go thru the VFL for mine. We have 3 interstate games in the next month. That’s a lot of travel. I wouldn’t risk May.
  17. We could play May and Tomlinson together because May can play small. I still wouldn’t risk him though. Tomlinson would be a good match up for Daniher I reckon (who might have to do some rucking anyways against the Tap Brothers).
  18. Don’t worry, Ebay Petracca will get himself into trouble sooner rather than later.
  19. Come finals Viney is very important because defensively he’s the best of the lot. And he gives Trac and Clarry a lot of protection to get first use of the ball. People really underestimate him.
  20. I’m not suggesting that we should rush him. Never have, nor have I ever questioned the club’s management of him. I’m just saying that it seems like something far more sinister than a bruised foot. As you say perhaps a stress fracture. Which is very concerning for our best forward. Especially when TMac and BBB are also not exactly the pillar of health.
