Once again the AFL gets away with screwing our club with their total BS. I really hate what the AFL has done to our game.

I think we should tho because again the AFL is making stuff up to suit their own narrative and punishing Melbourne players. Far worse actions than this last week, including ones that resulted in injury, didn’t get charged.

This has been a week from hell. Not one thing has gone right for the club.

And to stop making examples of Melbourne players. Sick to death of this rubbish!

Our players get suspended for contesting the footy tho, so I’m not sure what the alternative is. I mean they could put on a Pies jumper and change their name to Daicos then they can punch opponents freely.

I really really really hate the AFL. It’s a good thing Melbourne is competitive right now or I would seriously consider walking away. It’s becoming increasingly more difficult to enjoy.

I assume everyone is free Thursday night for another 4 hour appeals process?

I’d love for Steven May to give him a bath when he plays forward and for Gawn to remind him who he learnt his ruck craft form. We don’t need to target him in any other way.

I really like Hunter. Seems like a character. And knows his way around the AFL spin.

One can be a great coach and a not so great person. The point still remains that he is a great coach and I can only hope that Goodwin achieves with us what Harwick achieved with Richmond.

Is it getting better at least?

Obviously if this weekend was the grand final Oliver would rip out said hamstring off his body and play and win the Norm Smith. But if taking the extra week of the bye off means he’s cherry ripe for the second half of the year leading into finals, then surely the club would do that. I know he’s a pain and is probably telling the fitness guy he can play this weekend, but like Viney and Gawn, these guys want to play at any risk to themselves and sometimes it comes back and bites them.

I know he’s our best and most important player, but you’d hate to rush him for the KB game, which is a probable loss anyway, and have him do a serious injury and miss the rest of the season. Seems not worth it!

Clarkson will be back

A 3 time premiership coach isn’t going to be a midfield coach reporting to someone else. Please. He will walk into a senior role elsewhere or walk away from coaching.

AFL runs the show down there. They pay the bills and they’ll do what they like. Would bring in Stuart as an assistant coach to Melbourne if Yze gets a senior gig at the end of the year.

But I don’t think Dimma wants to rebuild. If he did he’d stay with Richmond. Gold Coast have a decent list already. West Coast are a decade away.

Dusty will retire. He and Dimma are very close. He won’t hang around for a rebuild and who can blame him. He’s achieved everything and more.

Their chest is mostly 90 years old or over. Would take Bolton.
