This is the stuff that goes unsaid. Win or lose, footy clubs do so much good in the community and to see Charlie smiling last night was just so wonderful. I cannot begin to understand what he and his family are going through. It is unimaginable the pain and sadness they must be feeling. For Melbourne to take that sadness away, even for a moment, is worth more than any 4 points ever will. Gawn and the rest of the team have shown time and again how willing they are to be involved in good causes, and it makes you very proud to be a Melbourne supporter.

A genuine tall these days is 198cm plus. McKay is a genuine tall. Daniher. Cameron. Hawkins. These are the type of guys Lever should not play on as it robs us of his intercept game. He can totally play on Gunston and impact the contest.

McKay is a very very good player. His goal kicking aside he’s a giant who marks the ball at the highest point. It’s so hard to defend in the air. Tomlinson was fine. He got lost on the lead once but the other contests were just McKay being far too strong in the air. Was hardly disgraced.
