  1. Imagine letting Rohan score a perfect 10 against you.
  2. For gods sake. Trust our most important player to miss 2 months with a low grade hamstring 😭 Edit: and no Hibbo to take on Green. Very good 🙄
  3. I can see Oliver training with the main group on the story Melbourne posted on Instagram this morning
  4. The only team to win after the bye were teams to play other teams coming off a bye. And neither win was convincing (see today’s Pies Adelaide game).
  5. Why can’t we have issues AND loading be ONE of those issues? Will we improve once we taper off? Probably. Will we become a flawless team? Absolutely not. There are many issues going on with the side at the moment. Some easier to solve than others. Some that can be explained by a heavier block of loading, and some that cannot. Our limp performance against Freo and the last quarter against Geelong/Pies are maybe a loading issue. Our lack of reliable contested marking forward target, is not. Poor skill execution is maybe a loading fatigue issue. Overusing the footy by hand in heavy rain is not, it’s just dumb football. Can we still win the flag this year? Absolutely. This is a season of ordinary top sides and equally competitive middle of the road sides. If you make the 8 you can probably win it if you get some good luck. Do we need to improve our ball use/goal kicking/forward connection and settle on a winning structure in order to win it? Absolutely.
  6. No, because Adelaide are a decent side who love to move the ball quickly, which is something that we have trouble with. They also have excellent ground ball players in their forward half, which is another weakness of ours. They also have Burgess who would know the ins and outs of our side and has them running hot in second halves. It is hardly a guaranteed win.
  7. They weren’t “up” when it mattered most. You said they have been up since round 10 last year.
  8. You mean except in September when they lost?
  9. He loves the Pies so much he should go coach them 😂
  10. I wouldn’t talk too soon. I don’t know if we will beat Adelaide.
  11. Every time. It’s literally unbelievable More luck than talent
  12. I [censored] hate Collingwood 😡
  13. I mean how invested is she in his financials? I am pretty sure he can afford to pay it AND buy her a nice birthday present 😂
  14. I agree. Unlike Melbourne, they aren’t in a position where they have to be seen as being competitive in order to survive. As the richest club in the AFL, they can rebuild properly with top end talent and not back fill their list with just ok players to stem the bleeding. Not to mention that they won a flag not that long ago. They aren’t exactly in the midst of a 57 year ****show.

When Gawn signed his deal he was the best ruckman and one of the best players around. Age and injuries haven’t helped him this year. As for Grundy, I think $600,000 for a very good mobile ruckman who has 3-5 years left is not a bad deal. He was never going to be at peak fitness after a year out. I think we would be significantly worse off had we not recruited Grundy, given Gawn’s form. Imagine needing to ruck Schache!

Gawn is much more than a ruck. He’s our captain. He’s also a 6 time AA and one of the greatest ever ruckman. We aren’t paying Grundy’s full wage anyway. Clarry and Trac are frankly bargains.
  17. In two weeks West Coast play Brisbane at the Gabba. 186 could well fall 👌
  18. Quite honestly the demise of West Coast is a joy. Hunt aside, who I do really feel for, that entire arrogant organization should suffer.
  19. He had fluid drained from his knee two weeks ago. Wtf is his manager suggesting? That we play a guy with a busted knee?
  20. My poor draft picks
  21. Bowey playing for Casey, when we can’t hit a target, is a criminal offense.
  22. I’ve never done a hamstring. I’ve also never run anywhere voluntarily. Hope this helps.
  23. Just as with the Freo game, we lost this because we played poorly and made crucial skill errors, plus had a poor setup forward of the centre. We did not lose this because we aren't good enough or met an opposition who was simply better, which was the case against Port, Essendon and Brisbane earlier in the year, where we lost simply because on the day the opposition was much better than us. It is the worst way to lose, especially when we are not comfortable inside the top 4 in the slightest.
  24. Perhaps, what could have worked, is putting a key tall on Stewart, with a lot of defensive experience, who could take some marks and stop Stewart freely intercepting the ball..... if only we had such a player available...
