It’s a pretty phenomenal achievement. He is one of only two Pies players who I really like.

I’m sure it has. Can’t be easy going through a complex rehab while idiots on the internet keep calling you a drug cheat 🙄

PREGAME: Rd 17 vs St. Kilda
Someone who has downed tools wouldn’t be playing consistently good footy in the VFL nor being in the physical condition he’s in. I think he’s been nothing but professional, in the face of a lot of disappointment…but that’s from the outside looking in. I rather trust that than someone saying on the internet he has a bad attitude. I think this past month has been a good example of why you shouldn’t believe the rubbish you read online.

I mean I don’t disagree, but I also tend to not believe randoms on the internet 🤷♀️ Maybe his “attitude” is questioning why he isn’t getting a game. Which I think is fair. He hasn’t done a lot wrong and IMO a player with a bad attitude wouldn’t be performing at VFL level the way he has been.

With Woewodin and JJ as ins (and only one mid out), it definitely spells a mid going forward for longer periods. It obviously won’t be Viney, so that leaves Trac or Sparrow. They can definitely both rotate at half forward and make an impact. What concerns me is the lack of reliable goal kickers. Ben Brown aside, where are the rest of the goals coming from if Kosi doesn’t have a great game (and form isn’t on his side)? I’m all for playing to the ground conditions (would have been good to see that the last two weeks), but we don’t really give any forward mix a real go consistently. Smith in for 3 weeks, two of those weeks played in awful conditions. He wasn’t amazing, but he also was not giving us less than Melksham has, and is certainly much better defensively. This can’t be the forward set up we think we take to September, unless we are very confident Fritsch will be cherry ripe for finals, Gawn will start delivering up forward, and Ben Brown is going to return to 2021 form. Long reach there.

2023 Injury List
Why didn't they communicate the complexity of the injury to begin with? Did they not know it was a tendon issue? Why let all this [censored] fester online and in the media and cause further hurt to Clarry? Also the mind boggles why we are now giving him 3-4 weeks to recover, instead of, you know, two months ago??

Three months for a hamstring injury. Yep, checks out.

Oh good. No Clarry for another month and no Fritsch until finals.

Marvel SUUUUUUUCKS. I just pre paid for parking because of course half the train lines are once again out of action. It is a terrible stadium with no atmosphere and you can't see anything from 90% of the general admission seating. I rate it 0 stars, and yet I will be there with at least 2 bells on.
