5 Young Dees Re-Sign
When youâre coming off no base, a while. He might not make it, but if the club has seen improvements, which you presume they have, then thatâs a good sign. He surely knows he has to show something in 2025 or itâs the end of the road.

Bailey Smith
Can confirm. Would not touch with a ten foot pole.

Time to go Goody?
He was his coach for the first season of his career. Was also there for the sexting scandal, not to mention captain during the rat pack years, and of course the racism saga

Time to go Goody?
0 times premiership coach who oversaw the triumphant behaviour of the likes of De Goey and Ginnivan Nathan Buckley?

Former MFC President Joe Gutnick calls to make club-shaking moves
And once again watch our club do nothing, say nothing, and let this narrative that we are in turmoil continue to be played out publicly. Whoever the [censored] is responsible for our comms needs to take a long walk off a short pier. Absolutely woeful.

Delistings 2024
McVee needs to be promoted to the senior list. He's still a rookie if you can believe it.

Former MFC President Joe Gutnick calls to make club-shaking moves
The ONLY justification for Green meeting Gutnick, was if it was under the premise of donating money towards the new training facilities. Otherwise there is no reason in the world he should have caught up with him, and given he's now run to the media to dish the dirt, it's time to block his number.

Former MFC President Joe Gutnick calls to make club-shaking moves
FFS another day of negative headlines for the MFC.

Former MFC President Joe Gutnick calls to make club-shaking moves
Maybe heâs trying to get him to donate to the new training ground⊠đ

Christian Petracca
Yeah it sounds more about changing the process going forward. If it makes the AFL more proactive with injury management then great. Frankly Iâm all for it, and same goes for having medical imaging available at the ground.

To be fair, Mother Theresa could promote this Parma and I would still maintain it sounds awful đ

TMac Re-Signs for 1 Year
Good news. Had a great season and is a leader we could absolutely use around the club.

NON-MFC: Trade Talk
Stringer to Pies is the most perfect outcome. He and De Goey in Bali. Stunning.

Adam Cerra
Pick 5? For Cerra who spends more time rehabbing his hammy than playing? Hmmmm no

NON-MFC: Trade Talk
No. McRae has languished in the VFL most of the year. As if he wouldnât ask for a trade. Heâs good enough to play senior football.
-
Tim Membrey
He could replace Melksham, who has a year left at best. He could also be good depth for injury cover, likewise he could free Turner to play down back as needed. We are one injury away from having to resort to playing Jefferson or Kentfield as key forwards. Not ideal if we are pushing for a flag.

I have never heard them being taken anywhere else. It is the closest private hospital. Btw itâs up to the paramedics to decide where to take a player. Not up to the club.
-
Christian Petracca
Every player who is taken to hospital from the MCG goes to the Epworth. Itâs the closest private hospital. And of course players get taken to a private hospital so they can be seen to immediately. If the ambulance took him to the Alfred with nothing more than suspected broken ribs, heâd be in the waiting room for 4+ hours before anyone would even see him. At a level 1 trauma centre, broken ribs rate very low on the triage scale. Also a reminder that Melbourne has no say in his care the minute he gets into an ambulance. Another reminder is May being sent directly to hospital after breaking his ribs the first time, because he indicated trouble breathing (due to the lung puncture he sustained). If Trac at any point said he couldnât breath, his pain was a 10, or he wasnât willing to get back on the ground, does anyone really think we would have told him âwell suck it upâ? There is absolutely no evidence we would have done that.

You didnât explain to me on what grounds he wins a grievance hearing? If he wants to be traded, we will trade him. What he canât do is demand to be traded to a club of his choice for way less than heâs worth, because in his (non medically factual) opinion he wasnât treated properly post injury. Thatâs not how the AFL works.
-
Christian Petracca
Yep and in this grievance case what will he say? Medical process was followed in accordance to the rules, but I feel emotionally hurt so I want to be traded. Oh wait, I ONLY want to be traded to Carlton or Collingwood because my spleen recovered but my brand has not đđ

The amount of players who have returned to play following a HEAD KNOCK, goes completely unnoticed yet this is news? Because Kozzie got suspended for 3 weeks for apparently concussing Moore, who somehow played 10 whole minutes following said head knock without a single assessment. How curious this didnât make any news at all. Either install MRI machines at all AFL venues, or rule all players with rib pain out of games. Do not come after us because we are an easy target. Multiple doctors misdiagnosed him. Including in a hospital setting. But somehow itâs a story because the MFC is the punching bag of the media, and apparently of the Petracca brand too.

The AFLPA can take it up with the AFL to change their procedures. It has nothing to do with the club. We followed the right protocols. End of story. And if Trac wants to continue to find ways to damage the club, he needs to think long and hard about what itâs going to do to his career.
