  1. They'll both be playing positions that will enable the entire team to look a hell of a lot better. Both will be very valuable additions and I can't wait to see them in the red and blue!
  2. Pick 27 is a great result for the Bombers. Classic form by them.

I like the drafting and trading scenarios, but too many changes for me. I don't think we need to delist or get rid of that many and I'd be inclined to keep Salem, Trengove, King, Newton, one of Dunn/Garland. We're at a point where these wholesale changes aren't required, and we need to build the list stability to have a real crack at the finals in the next few years. Removing that many players again will set us back before we move forward.
  4. His work rate is sensational. Runs bloody hard and makes good decisions. He'll be a fixture on the wing for years to come I hope.

I'd like to see him break into the seniors and do well, but at the moment he is one of our best prospects as trade bait.
  6. Haven't had a chance to have a look at Preacher but did get to meet Craig Rosenberg recently, who is a writer on the show. Great guy and doing very well over in the US (worked on Lost for a long time), as are many other Australian film/TV people at the moment! I just re-watched the original The Office and the brilliance of this show just blows me away every time. Still Gervais' best work by a mile, and craps all over the American version.
  7. Jesse purchased an investment property last year in Perth. Maybe he bought another one for his brother?
  8. This happened last year...
  9. Congratulations to him. Sounds like good practice for playing alongside big Maxy.
  10. What has he been doing this year?
  11. I've been waiting for this and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised
  12. Don't worry, stuie will find one. But I'm sure it won't be good.
  13. Defensive effort looks as though it could lift, definitely. Yesterday was the first time I've ever seen him rag dolled on a number of times by a defender. Grundy is a big lad and has bundles of experience but usually Hogan never gives an inch. Hoping he bounces back after the bye with a couple of bags.
  14. Thought White was great against GWS last year and his footskills were very good. Surprised to have not seen him so far this year but I suppose it shows how far we've come in terms of depth.
  15. A film called 'The Loneliest Planet' will never leave me. Atrocious movie with a storyline that could have been told in 5 minutes, with one particular scene involving an establishing landscape shot that lasted about 4 minutes. Half a dozen people left the cinema when it was playing and I was almost number 7. Other notable mentions... Only God Forgives, American Sniper, Anchorman 2 and most superhero movies ever produced.
  16. I think that latest one doesn't really say anything that isn't true. In fact, it's fairly well balanced. Viney should consider himself lucky he only got one week.
  17. Yep, just needs to channel it more effectively. Trengove in could be a good call, could play a similar role.
  18. That's a disgrace, hope he's ashamed of himself. ANB is a champ.
  19. So that depends on the coaching staff, and where they'll decide to play him.
  20. I'm annoyed at his kicking the last couple of weeks, but he will still be an absolute gun. Hopefully with us, not Fremantle.
  21. 2.6 over two weeks isn't good enough from any forward. Kicking needs work, or something is off. He kicked 7.1 only a couple of weeks ago.
  22. Yes, but... I'd rather keep this thing that everyone wants, which is our first superstar in a very long time. Plz don't leave, Jesse.
  23. The issue is that it is ambiguous. Does he mean where he wants to be geographically, or in terms of an environment of success as you mentioned above? I'm leaning toward the latter because it would be a bold statement to make in terms of the former, which would indicate he's really thinking about heading back west.
  24. If he ends up being right, will it matter?
