Agree Petty was lucki last weekend and he is not a forward which has been evidenced by his output yet the coach persists season after season. WC scored 8 goals and at times moved the ball without much pressure, this is the worst 18th team and they still had their moments against us. Game plan, what game plan Coach’s time is up imo.

Came down from Brisbane for this game with my young fella and after last wk I had no idea what to expect. Very avg game up to half time but got better after that (still in the get rid of Goodwin camp). Really enjoyed Jai Culleys first game. He did great and shows a lot of promise. Took a great contested mark too. From what I could see he played on the wing and drifted forward. Good to see Petracca play his 21st game in a row since he came back from injury. I am sure he will be better for the run next season as his injuries would have taken a massive toll on him imo. Overall good to get the win albeit against the 18 team and see JC debut game.

That’s gives me no confidence at all. I am down from Brisbane with my young fella and have no idea what to expect but we are prepared for disappointment. Part of being a Melb supporter I suppose. Will be interesting to c what happens.

This just adds more pressure on the club coach and players. Something has to give to start fresh for next season. BRING IT ON.

What’s the bet Petty starts forward this week cause it’s worked so well in the past. Not sure why but Goodwin just doesn’t want to change certain things when it’s clear as daylight THAT IT AINT WORKING. This is part of the problem and does my head in.

Saw this in an article on AFL.com and had to laugh. Unbelievable. "They trust each other, they trust the process, but clearly on the weekend they got it wrong,” Goodwin said of his players.

I particularly like this part in the article. “The dissatisfaction and resignation of members and sponsors is not lightly dismissed”. Will like to c us actually make the tuff decision on the coach and fd but time will tell if it’s all talk. God I hope it’s not. If changes are made including the coach my enthusiasm for 26 season will be reinvigorated.

Can u imagine some of the words he would include while presenting to the board, learnings, no stone unturned, building something special and that’s just off the top of my head 🤮🤮🤮

Let’s just hope that the significant change coming INCLUDES GETTING RID OF THE COACH.

Thanks for providing the info Praha. Any team that plays us knows as soon as they run with the ball and spread we can’t keep up. Yesterday we managed to quell this from the saints until the last where they opened us up through speed. This has been an issue for a while now and yet no plan to combat it which AGAIN FALLS ON THE COACH. For the love of god get rid of him, as I don’t think I can go through another season like this one next yr.

Do any of the posters who seem to have some sort of contact within the club have any info to share on what will or might happen with the coach? The noise from the club is deafening.

Yep even when we were 46 up I had this nagging feeling we would stuff it up and woulD lose by a point I was close. At the end of the game I just sat there and shook my head and thought this better be the end of gw. Not surprised at all.

K underwood is a terrible commentator to listen to right up there with BT. Her voice is so grating Cannot understand how she gets a gig tbh.

Would be nice to c JVR grab a game by the scruff of the neck and take off from there.
