This just opened up a can of worms. What are we going to do when neitz retires at the end of this year/next year. We do not have another full foward. What are we going to do??

B:Whelan Caroll Holland HB:Ward Rivers Bell C: Johnstone Mcdonald Pickett HF: Sylvia Miller Bate F: Davey Bruce Green C: White Moloney Jones Int- P Johnson C Johnson buckley Yze NOTE 1) That we have an exeptionally TOUGH midfield with the exeption of johnstone, and Geelong are iffy under imense pressure. 2)Forward line- get the ball in there FAST because with a FF line of davey bruce green we are not going to lose many contests. 3) Half Forward line- All the boyz i have named there PRESENT really well. 4) If this tactic fails we put PJ at full foward. 5) J White can go forward for 2-3 at the end of the quater he doesnt need to be on the bench half the game. 6) Davey- Close to goal ALL GAME 7) This forward stucture will unblanance an inform Geelong backline. 8) Buckley we need someone who is hungry for the footy and in his first game he will be. 9)Pickett and Johnstone rotate with sylvia and bate. 10) We need experience and a steady head without neita and robbo. Put him on the halfback line IMO 11) Godfrey and Brown out- there disposal is disgusting. Maybe a bit harsh on godders after Mondays performance. Problems Until the last quater on the week end our clearances were shocking. I know Mclean is usually our best clearance player, but someone has to step up. Inexperienced but what can you do? If L Dunn is available does he play? This is unrealistic but i would love to see it happend DD

Last night was disgusting we over used the ball and overused the handball, and a skill were as good as my under 16s side. However things could not of bee worse. Next week. These players cant play that bad. DAVEY BRUCE GREEN YZE (hopfully he wont be playing) SAME WITH MILLER. CAROLL WAS SHOCKERS. wont have 2 players on bench mclean and whelan injured early. Although they are young Jones Bate Batram Bell and Johnson can not be that bad two weeks in a row. Positives Moloney although wasteful looked really good Neitz and Robbo were moving well Negatives I think last night we had 2 many unaccountable soft as butter players. GREEN BRUCE YZE AND DAVEY applied NOOOOOOOOOOO forward line pressure and were unaccountable. However with Rivers and Pickett, and Sylvia comming back soon it should fix that, and if Whelan and Mclean play a full game. Last year our tackling was great last night it was second rate. More handballs than ive seen from us in years(N). However dont worry we have too much quality to do that two weeks in a row. Just be positive and give it an other week. 21 weeks to go plus 4 weeks of finals. We wont remember this on the last saturday in september

I think everyone on this site would agree that if Miller doesn't perform this year he will be traded/delisted at the end of the year. His career is at the cross roads. Being at the game on Saturday i noticed a few things. Firstly that not only Frosty but the whole team was playing very close to goal. Personally the best game i have seen Brad Miller play was against Collingwood when he took 10+ marks on the wing, and that is exactly what are team missed. The link man. I have no doubt that if Miller doesnt fill the role this year Dunn will next year. However one position that doesnt look like being cemented by any player is Centre Half Back. We all saw how Brad Miller play on Barry Hall last year. He did have some bad games after that at CHB, but for the team and for Frosty would it not be best to see him play at CHB. Lets be honest we will never win a flag with either Ben Holland(dud), or Rivers(undersized) in that position. We need to stick the first half of the season with Frosty at CHB look at it as a learning experience that will benifit the club in the long term. Until next time DD

buddy, according to you no1 played well...how ever some things you said were spot on.... firsty Jeff White was very good kicking 4 goals...probablly BOG, and i am one of his harshest observerers. Trapper- was sensation probz are 2nd best player...normal trapper. Jones- was very impressive big season ahead Miller- contested hard all day didnt do much though....he was playing to close to goal IMO and he should be up the ground as the "link" man. Davey- Kicked a magical goal, and had a magical chase down...but apart from that was average Moloney- PROMISING. I was reminded how important he is to our team when he got the ball on half back took two bounces through the middle of the ground kicked it 50, to neitz who went backed and goaled. Bate- looked good took lots of uncontested mark, and got the ball quite a bit at the bottom of packs. Mcdonald- his usuall self. Dunn- average. Ward- probablly in our best 22, his run off half back is great. Chris Johnson- Probablly his best game for the red and the blue, expect him to take part in a lot of games this year. Caroll- Clumbsy. Very Clumbsy. Jamar- Ran hard but didnt do anything. Neitz- half the game on the bench but looked really sharp, no balls hit him on the forehead:D. Fergo- too skinny, but good. Bizzel- looked good when he was the 3rd man up, but he really doesnt look like he will be part of our unit for 07. Buckley- quiet but still think he will be good. Bruce- great last quater as per usual. Green- Usuall self. Whelan, and Brown- very quite. Frawley- Did some really CLASSY things, but still not getting heaps of the ball. Bell- this kid has so much potential, and keeps flirting with the supporters but still hasnt delivered. Yze- HE DOES NOT DESERVE TO START IN OUR TEAM. HE HAS NOT GOT A CONTESTED POSSESION IN THE TWO PRACCY GAMES IVE WATCH. WAIT HAS HE ACTUALLY GOT A POSSESION AT ALL? ...thats about it if ive missed any1 just ask and ill let you know how they went.

Went down to Trininty today to watch the boyz train, and after 45 minutes of searching for them they were no where to be found. Trinity and the club were both hopeless and helping us find the session, and me and my mate were extremely disappointed. Hoping to get to a session soon.
