    6. May 5. Lever 4. Oliver 3 Spargo 2 Tmac 1. Harmes apologies to Gawn Tracca Langdon Kossy and Jordan great first game and Jackson. Livewire And Fritta very rusty. Couple of handballs needed to click and we would have bolted away. But we have no killer instinct. Hope that’s all spelt proper. Like my English.
  2. Just watched the replay, knowing the result of course. Thought all played well, no obvious terrible games. They were all very rusty though. The backs were great. The mids played better around the ground than in the centre IMV . the forwards. Rusty but played well standouts May. Lever. Oliver Harmes Tmac . Spargo Gawn Very good first game Jordan , Langdon. Gunna be hard next week. Go Dees
  3. If you are watching the saints game now. Get a load of how much Ratten is invested in his sides win. He actually gets a little excited. Wish our coach did !

Majak brother in law, north tragic was sceptical when I suggested that he would play a few games. His opinion if we need Majak we are in lots of trouble

I think that Chandler is unlucky, thought he showed more than Jordan against the dogs... still it’s the FD job,
  7. 3.30 Perth time is 6.30pm here so that lines up
  8. But yes good luck to him indeed, I hope he does well
  9. With all the hype about his training and then getting a game against the dogs. I was expecting one to watch during that game. Was a fair bit disappointed, expected he might get a game early in the season, but game 1 that we must win. The selectors are very brave,

  18. DD36 thanks for all this, don’t get to listen to G and T, does Max get help from , the coach or other ex captains, or instructors who guide him through the early years of captaincy. Not many AFL players are rocket scientists indeed some are barely articulate. They can play great footy perhaps but that does not automatically lead to the responsibility of leading a group of players. I know personally I can barely lead a horse to water. Hope the club provides some sort of structure come on Demons. And happy equinox in a couple of days

  20. Ditto. But I can’t get down, so it’s down to the local and I hope some other poor sod will be watching. So we can cheer or cry foul. Go you mighty Demons !!
  21. That’s a big moth !
  22. Its not up to the supporters rather its up to the management of the club to incorporate the supporter base within the club.
  23. You must only look at Spargo with a blue eye. At crucial times in our scoring. He is the one who links it all together. By being in the right place at the right time. yes he is small, never going to take mark of the day, can’t kick 60 m , but IMV is a very important part of the forward line. in any case it does not matter what we think, if the selectors choose him or not thats their decision. an interesting few days coming up. I hope we all enjoy more wins than losses this year and can put our views as we think fit. Come on Dees !!

I think your wrong, The players are angry so it will be a 7 or 8 point loss, So they don't feel too upset when they put their hand out... an honourable loss
  25. I don't know anywhere near Goodwin when it comes to football. I am a plodder, playing and understanding. I read others opinions on here and feel smarter by far. But.. I get more upset, during a game, after a game, than I think Goodwin does. (its his job, its my passion, apart from my darling). I would really love to have a coach that obviously shared a passion for our club, and actually showed it. There should be "learnings" whether you win or lose, but that's not why you play. Practice match or for the 4 points . You play to win and feel great for the next few days, until the next time you get learnings. Hate it when I think the other sides think we are soft cox, as that Carlton player surmised. Probably why I liked Rod Grinter and Aaron Vandenberg. Come on Dees get angry if we get behind in a game.
