  1. CB I hope that the jumpers that you are referring to are just the training ones and that the match ones are better fitting. Even so it would be better if they did match simulation training in jumpers of the same fit as match day jumpers.
  2. If you are able to access the internet the afl website has the game in 4 separate quaters Try this address http://www.afl.com.au/video/tabid/76/default.aspx#playvideo
  3. I know you shouldn't make light of the situation, but just look at the influence a new player(ex-Blues, ex Lions) in the ranks has made already on the leadership group
  4. Tim has made an interesting point regarding the average number of games per player that the premiership teams of the past 10 years have had. The average appears to be 107, Collingwood average last year was 101. At the end of the home and away season this year the approx. average for the MFC will be 90 if we are able to keep our best players on the park. So that indicates that we could be in our premiership window from next year if we can keep our best team together.
  5. I can't remember Healy having a positive word to say about Melbourne in his whole journalist/commentary career. He waits till he sees something to be critical of and then gives it all he's got. Somebody at Melbourne must have told him what a mercenary @^?% he was to leave and go to Sydney all those years ago. I wonder how he and his brother get on?
  6. I recall the problem was thyroid related. I hope Troy has it sorted out and is on the road to full health.
  7. Spoke to Troy after the AGM he has some health issues at the moment, so not injured as such. He is seeing a specialist to sort out his best mode of treatment.
  8. Yes No 16 did surprise me in the Port game. Even though the write ups about Cook are very positive. All-Australian honours at last year’s NAB AFL Under-18 Championships. Finished in the top 10 at the AFL Draft Combine in the 3km time trial and kicking assessment test. The training reports haven't been anything special and his reported lack of pace led me to have limited expectations. His performance so far in the one game do show he has genuine footy nous and his lack of body size didn't impact on his willingness to use his body in contested situations. I have a feeling we could end up with a real good player like Frawley, just at the other end of the ground.
