  1. I believe Neeld delayed minor brain surgery in Sept 2010 to prevent side tracking Collingwood's Grand Final preparation. The nerve damage to his face which we seem to take great delight in sending up, is a result of this.
  2. In this case the fish definitely rots from head down
  3. I think it depends if the AFL want to make a statement and nip the umpire touching in the bud. Every kid playing footy is told from day 1 that they can never touch an umpire. Its not like they didn't know. Both were intentional, regardless of reason. At least May's was accidental... sort of.
  4. Noooo! Please stay Mark, you are contributing towards something great at Essendrug. Great for the rest of us!
  5. I'm guessing Nev would laugh in your face if you said he was roughed up and not paid fees because of his race. He'd be laughing at you.
  6. Hmm... I don't think the subconscious use of race in this instance is coming from the umpires.
  7. During your cute pillow talk did he happen to indicate that he was ready to re-sign?
  8. Please tell me they've announced both ready to sign-on for 5 years
  9. Is a very nice problem to have. His year has been up and down, but his early form and numbers were excellent. I tend to think he will be a high half forward with time in the midfield. Will keep clear of the 3 big forwards
  10. Think you might be getting one game ahead of yourself mate
  11. The bigger Curnow will be a other great test for Oscar next wek
  12. Let's hope the GCS don' do much better than their NEAFL side this week. They played Brisbane (with 11 listed AFL players including 2mPeter and Kane Kolij) and could only manage 4 behinds. Bris kicked 96 pts
  13. Interesting they didn't mention Jim Stynes' son. He's about 12 and a handy footballer
  14. Given your opinions on all matters above I find that comment highly ironic. Further, they are either off topic and not relevant to this thread or you are tarring Wilkinson with the same brush. But I did like the comparison between a vegan (ie. choice) and a black man, as if they are even similar We have differing views obviously.
  15. Not on this particular case. But in this thread you did proffer an opinion on: - so-called grievance culture amongst victims looking for money - people 'looking' for offence... "as long as people take offence then we will continue to have these issues". AKA victim blaming - Eddie somehow being a victim for his Adam Goodes as King Kong insult, despite a "contrite and fullsome" apology which took 3 attempts before becoming vaguely believably. - #metoo culture of victims apparently seeking revenge So we get the picture.
  16. I know there are words there, but wtf does this even mean?
  17. Lock him away for 4 years please
  18. So why side track the topic by ranting about gender PC issues with clickbait? "Offence is always taken but never given" is such a tiresome and simplistic slogan with no contribution to very much at all. Tell me, when being called a black c*** (by AFL opponent Sherman) do you think it was supposed to be a compliment or was it 'given' with the intention to offend using race and put him off his game? Would be better to wait and be informed about the specifics of this case rather than jump the gun and victim blame
  19. The main reason we are relevant again. Very much appreciated.
  20. Future outside runner? Three words: Charlie. Spargo.
  21. Turnovers can also be handballs. When you dispose of the ball 32 times the law of averages means you may turn over more. Harmes will be dropped before Gus. One of Gus' best games yet. Also 8 inside 50s and 659m gained and most have him in top 4 on ground. But haters gonna hate...
  22. Son loses Charlie Son banned for a year for PED Team played for humilited by WADA Team played for and then team coached comfortably beaten by Dees in successive weeks Radio colleague is Garry Lyon Not having a good run Timmy.
