$18 for an acorn??? That's nuts! @Bitter but optimistic brings his fermented clam bun to the footy every week. It's why there's always spare seats around him

We could put Jesus Christ at FF and we'd still struggle to kick a goal if we continue to long bomb as a default tactic, which happens as soon as an opposition applies consistent pressure. Without at least one elite kicking A grade mid, our forwards will struggle. Trac, Clarry, Viney, Gawn, Sparrow are all average/poor kicks going i50. Langdon, Hunter and Billings are too. Probably a contributing factor in why Riv and Kossie are getting more midfield time. McVee and Bowey will be next in line. But thats robbing Peter to pay Paul. Where to recruit an elite kicking mid is another question

And isn't the new Betty Cuthbert bar set up appalling. It's like a noisy cattle enclosure. Totally stuffed up a good bar by putting the TV commentators panel where the old bar was

You trawling the player's family Facebook pages again Dazzle? Shame on you! 🤣- People's First Stadium
Almost as crazy as playing footy on a cricket ground!- Kozzie Pickett - 100 games
His consistency from game to game is getting better. And certainly the 1%ers and pressure acts are always a joy to watch- "Very sore" Max Gawn in doubt for next Saturday vs Essendon
IMO May and Max are our two elite (whatever the [censored] that is measured by) contested marks. Tmac, Petty and Lever are good marks. JVR and Turner are still raw and learning the skill Max's ability to cover the ground and take multiple pack marks will be missed- "Very sore" Max Gawn in doubt for next Saturday vs Essendon
Yep, Max's ability to run repeatedly up and down for 4 quarters and get to contest after contest makes him so important. Having said that, his ruck work is still underappreciated by some. He can tap in nearly every direction to advantage, regularly grabs it and boots 40m forward. The better teams learn to read off his ruck work, which is better than our mids trying to do that off their's- "Very sore" Max Gawn in doubt for next Saturday vs Essendon
Like it. Bang into them at every chance, get them around the ribs, no straight lines to the next contest, no more nice We are dealing better than expected with the loss of Brayshaw and Tracc, with Clarry down on his previous standard. We'll do the same with the ruck. Chance for us to try out new midfield set ups. Max won't be around forever!- PREGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon
- Jason Taylor - visionary or overrated
I reckon he was super keen to play with his bro, so Carlton were fine for him to have 'issues', perhaps even put extra mayo on them- Jason Taylor - visionary or overrated
Getting Bernie Vince from Colin Sylvia compo was gold Drafts are always hit and miss, and it's not just JT that makes the call, it's the whole FD, particularly Roosy in 2013. JT and the FD have had more hits than misses, the most obvious miss was Weid above McKay and Curnow. But ya can't win 'em all Kierkegaard reminds us: life can only be understood backwards - but must be lived forwards.- GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs West Coast

McKay x 2, Curnow, Hipwood, Himmelberg... any of them- NON-MFC: Round 17
Hope that effort means the bombers are spent by next week. Merritt was brilliant, and McKay huge in defence- NON-MFC: Round 17
Both Daicos bros have been well tagged. There's a lesson to be learnt there by 17 other clubs - Oscar Allan
