I understand it better than you mate, because I don't watch it with red and blue eyes.
-
Yes that's right and why did I call him that?
-
Don't think I need to spell it out for you, again read I know you have read John and Betty.
-
Another one that doesn't read or understand but I don't expect you to really...

There is footy IQ and there footy IQ so answer this, is he on the same level in that department of players, Judd, Cousins, Pendlebury, Martin, hell can go back to Greg Williams etc, no, his strength is see ball get ball and pass it on, simple football, when he tries to to do anything else it comes undone, I will take his strength of his ability to fit the sides need, what he did in late 21 and the second half was do what Oliver used to do get ball and dish it off now that Oliver works a lot outside now, he does not need to be the one to do that, again stick to your strength not your weakness.

Would not get carried away with a win against a completely undermanned side but you can only play against what is there, so, I still stand by my statement that Viney has no football IQ and the first half showed that but in the second half he did what he did back in late 21 and through out the finals series see ball get ball and pass it off no thinking plays a lot better and does hurt sides when he does this. Brayshaw, not sure what is going on there, seems to be either not happy he's playing H/B or confidence is down seems to be second guessing what he wants to do with the ball. McVee, getting better and better, Salam might spend some time at Casey if he keeps improving ( adds that Hunt speed ). Tmac, not much competition against him and the ground suited him, still backup for me. Chandler, well here is a surprise on how he has come on, makes good decisions always thinking of the next move, good goal sense. Kossie, I am one who believes his best position is in the Forward line, not sure he can handle the heat in the middle on a regular basis. JVR love the fact that he crashes the packs hard chases at full pace, but needs work on his marking, he need to keep his hands forward not bent backwards in trying to mark it causes to lack of strength in the hands, but still like him there. Petty, bit at sea but the way they brought the ball in no wonder, when all your forwards fly at once you don't have much hope, the forward line still needs a lot of work, cannot fathom why when the ball is around the H/F line everyone stands still move for heavens sake open it up, learn to make holes, take your opponent out of the area. Is it worth persevering only if they change the set up. Grundy, played against well not their best, but the best part of it for me, he got great game time and fitness time will only get better. If Hibbo is injured, and after watching Casey Disco would have to come in and would be a good replacement. One thing I was happy about there was several times that 2-3 players held back on the backline so when the eagles the ball chipped around in the backline, players were there, not to give them a chance to move it on quickly. I would love to see a change in set up in the forward line, instead of all lining up like ducks in a row take the H/F's further out, same with pockets creates a hole, can give you multiple aiming points, radical I know but we don't have a real power marking forwards. The second half the Eagles stated to run out of steam and class but like some of there young ones.

Poor forward set up by us, looks like everyone wants to kick a goal.
-
Good sides bury this mob with 7 out, it's all about percentage for this game.
-
Didn't think he was still around
-
Lol surprised that got through the filter.
-
Wow thoughtful comment.
-
I also followed up with when he takes the first option he's better, but to think his way through he is just not there.
-
See if he doesn't think he does the right thing.
-
Viney has to have the lowest football IQ brain that has ever played for Melbourne.
-
Lmfao
-
Not doing to much, kicking against the wind and where do forwards start behind their man, that's junior football stuff stop all flying in packs.
-
its on channel 7
-
5+ goals, if they are serious it should be at least 12+, no excuses for this one.
-
Yeah I know roost it, brain got ahead of fingers, meant to say Jesus they have....
-
Tmac is a backward step, going to the well again, Jesus are have so many injuries that kids from the under 10's will be filling in, use tommo as a spare ruck if you have to.

In the second quarter they did what no one had done and that was regarding the Dacios boys it was not what they did with their first possession, but did not allow them free possession after that and that's the trick to it all. When McCray said I would tag them he knew these boys could run all day so going after them by tagging is a waste of time it's how you set up to stop them getting to the next contest to create the lose man.
-
You saw that to.

If the lions game had not been stopped do you really think we would have come back like that no way, so let's not get carried away with that one.
-
Glad you watch with one eye shut, you are allowed to do that go watch the game again when the game was getting closer kickouts were down the line they got boxed in, it was only after they got back on top that free flowing football started to get going. I said in a post last year after round 9-10 that we were in trouble with the way we played, some here howled that down, guess what towards the end of the year other people picked up on it so yes I look at a game slightly different to you. I aslo said that they will work it out but hey you look at your way I will look at it my way no big deal.
-
Gee I'm glad you don't see any faults, suppose last year was just fine, leading up to finals and finals themselves.
