IMHO Smith can't play the Salem role ... He did really well v Doggins, but his disposal and decision making is not particularly good, unlike Salem who is elite.

Agree with you mo64. I can't say that I share the enthusiasm of other posters who rated his game highly. But, obviously, I hope he succeeds. I agree that Kade Chandler looks a long way short of the required standard.

May will obviously line up on Naughton. But Petty is the best match up. Not sure who will line up on English when he is on the forward line. He doesn't pose much of a threat (famous last words!) so perhaps Lever who usually gets one of the weaker forwards, or Smith who can play on talls.

These extensions are invariably only for 2 years ... (Trac was an exception.) It keeps the club 'happy' but keeps the player's options open.

He was heading towards AA, but wasn't quite as good after missing a match with concussion. The back half of the season wasn't as good. He's one of my favourite players.

Just saw some of the highlights again. The Cripps free kick against Petracca was ridiculous ... he slid into the tackle. And the Cripps goal where he ran 30 metres without bouncing the ball .... WTF ???

I'm not sure why, but I find Zeibell really annoying. Hated the way Larkey did a Duckwood to get a free/goal. Pretty low key/lack lustre match so far other than 3 x goals in 3 minutes
