Game plans, tactics and all that jazz
100%. We try to force the oppo into high dump kicks. But we do it to ourselves on purpose. Wait till the forward line is full of both teams players and then dump it on the big forwards head while hoping Kozzie and co. can work their magic hard up on the boundary surrounded by a dozen opposition players. Cause they all know where it's going as well.

'Dump kicks into the 50'
5 then. Got his hands on them all. And yes he's had some unrealistic attempts as well.

'Dump kicks into the 50'
Picket flying for marks wouldn't be so bad if he held one now and then. He could've Mark of the Year half a dozen times but dropped 'em. And I think McVee has a "laser flat pin point kick in his repertoire." But that's about all.

They beat us up regularly during the 80's and 90's. 2000GF. 2004 elim ( the last final they won) Won Neil Danihers last game as coach hitting the front with 20seconds to go. Arrogant supporters.

Admission of Tanking?
The AFL made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Shushed him up real quick. Then he disappeared from sight.

Your Favourite Moment
This is the issue with the new dangerous tackle rule they're ramming through. If you are the tackling player you cannot go in for a tackle being half hearted and gentle because the finely tuned athlete in peak physical condition with the ball is going to blast straight through you. Luke Hodge was on SEN this morning talking about the perspective of players. In every game there are blokes playing to stay in the team, playing for contracts, their teammates confidence etc. Coaches place a very high priority on tackles to pressure the ball carriers into mistakes. They are also coached to drag the players to the ground as handballs while being thrown to the ground are far harder to hit than when standing up in a tackle. Someone asked he other day what happens in a Prelim, when they're playing for all the marbles and we find half a dozen players getting rubbed out for the GF cause they were a little bit rough. My view is if your going to play the game gently. You're gonna get hurt.
