It's always worse waking up the next morning and then realising that watching us spud it up in a final wasn't just a bad dream. Luckily I have experience dealing with such disappointments.

To think we still should need the rules explained to die hard football fans after 100 and whatever years is the problem. No sport tinkers or has rules of the week/month like ours. The AFL want the game to be fast and flowing so many rules get ignored in order to ensure it is.

I do agree. Should just skip the game and have a penalty shootout.
