Going forward we're doing exactly what we love the opposition to do. Move the ball slowly and kick long bombs to a pack into the forward 50. Reckon with all the focus on defence we've lost our attacking flair. Always safety 1st. Our small forwards are so defensive they've forgotten they're actually forwards.

I've seen him play 3 good games. 2 of them against us on QB.

Nah, we've done this for years. A couple of times I thought they may have rectified the problem. But I was mistaken.

We Melbourne supporters are an introverted bunch. Have suffered much embarrassment over the years. Probably lost a generation or 2 of young supporters in the carnage. Supporters who would be young adults at games making noise .... But we aint got 'em. Petracca would be right about our age demographic, that we're an older supporter base.

Sorry Sam. Doomed to failure. Our supporter base is far too reserved. It's one thing to be quiet. Another to not even show up. But that's how we roll.
