Took the kids to the toilet at qr time just after he kicked the goal after the siren. Pumped up demon supporters had the low rumbling "Weeeeed" call going the tunnels around the food halls etc. Great stuff. The joint was alight.

Wheras I'd take Brayshaw. Petracca might have the god given gifts. But he doesn't have the drive to make the most of those gifts. Reckon he'll be a frustration over his career. Great to see the tongue has stayed inside his mouth this season though.

The way he come out firing during his 1st season it was plain to see Brayshaw was going to be a gun. Hit a few road bumps over the next couple years mainly due to his raw courage and is now starting to find the rhythm again. Petracca just needs to improve the tank and find more ball.

Ya know ..... If I was James Hird and my oldman kept sticking his beak into the papers. I'd be embarrassed and tell him to pull his head in. No doubt he'd dined out on being the Hirds father during Hirds playing career and is now struggling to chew the fact his son is now an AFL disgrace.
