Torn meniscus. Operation happened this week, will be out for a while.
  2. Torn meniscus. Has had the operation, will be out a little while though.
  3. I didn't say it would stay with the premiers, but that's a pretty big gamble to say we have to at least make a semi for the trade to simply be equal worth. Also, who even knows if FA compensation will exist next year? Will there be priority picks for anyone next year? Just more gambles. I prefer to play it safe than gamble away our future.
  4. I'm just walking through the hypotheticals..
  5. Errrrr no, but you seem to think we're going to win the flag if you think next year's second rounder will be lower than 36...
  6. You do understand that IF Dunn gets traded THEN the rest of the scenario changes yeah?
  7. So you'd sacrifice potentially 10 draft spots just to draft this year rather than next? Doesn't make sense to me.
  8. Ah yep, surely with Lewis "popping up" it means Newton's fate is surely sealed? I'm not a massive fan, but the FD seem to love Wagner and he seems a lock to be upgraded, so with Dunn, Dawes and Newton all a decent chance to go and then Wags upgraded, it leaves us with 3 spots yeah? Still feel Mahoney has some kind of pick trade up his sleeve...
  9. But as you've already said "billy" there's still a day to go, and if Dunn leaves you would think those picks will look very different, changes the whole thing doesn't it?
  10. Geez that's a massive slide in points from 47 to 57, didn't realize the difference was so great. As for our list, as it stands we have 1 free spot right? So if we traded Dunn and delisted Dawes that makes 3 spots. Then using 1 draft pick and upgrading two rookies fills those 3 spots. Correct? And we don't have to use all our picks, just 3. I know we can use our last picks to upgrade, but why would we bother using pick 84 in the draft?
  11. Then delist Dawes, hopefully get a speedy mid with pick 47 and rookie list a key back and a ruckman.
  12. Calm down mate. Maybe read some of my other posts, like the above.
  13. Surely we won't be even thinking about Barlow now after getting Lewis? Lewis and Hibberd are upgrades on Jones and Grimes too.
