Missed the Dees game But from the few minutes I watched last night, not excited about the concept. One thing that (used to) set footy above the American games of basketball and gridiron at least from my enjoyment point of view, was the lack of artificial props like the blaring “music” after goals, lack of cheerleaders and lack of smoke and mirrors. Heaven forbid if these ever intrude into our true game - these things make this version basically crap.

It does so regularly during the season on footy matters, so why not now (devil's advocate). So, even unsubstantiated charges, ie no conviction, should result in sacking?? Dangerous grounds there in terms of unfair / illegal dismissal, besmirching character etc.

If he achieves success, and if he performs harder at Port than he did with us, then it would at least say something about his lack of commitment to MFC. He could have with greater sustained effort (if he is really that good) turned around at least 3-4 goals over the entire season 2017 which would have seen us in finals (and probably not in Bali ) later in September.
