  1. Has already I believe.
  2. OK - time to clear the ground, NOW. Enough is enough. Imagine the reaction if (a) a player does a hammy in the remaining 5 minutes and / or (b) one or both teams come down with Covid during the week.
  3. Can they actually resume the game? The game is done - maybe Geelong should concede.
  4. Fining every invader $1000 could pay off the state (maybe even national) debt ๐Ÿ˜„
  5. Both teams far too Franklin focussed. ๐Ÿค”
  6. OMG Cats just too focussed on Franklin - leave others Heywood Heaney free. And looking slower by the minute. Maybe they shouldn't be scheduled to play after bedtime. AND again, Henry talks back after in Franklin's back - no 50.
  7. Geelong just look so slow, as in their finals of 2021. And pretty undisciplined as well.
  8. Several Geelong platers have "clearly shown displeasure" when penalised but no 50s like in our practice game v Carlton. Even handedness or softening in interpretation?
  9. So Emperor McGowan hasn't banned Covid out of existence over there in the Hermit Kingdom? ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
  10. We need to focus on beating whomever they send out against us - celebrating outs is often counterproductive
  11. I know of a doc who hit the kerb falling from his bike whose helmet split open but who only had a mild headache. He would almost certainly had a severe head injury, quite possibly death. I certainly wouldnโ€™t cycle without one. No guarantees but it helps.
  12. Good preparation to take full advantage of the โ€œlucky momentโ€ is vital, as is mental preparation to put the โ€œbad luck momentโ€ behind you and move on. I believe it was Jack Nicklaus who once said โ€œthe more I practice the luckier I getโ€.
  13. Much as I dislike Robinson, he was hung out to dry โ€ฆโ€ฆ basically he stood still, braced and was head butted. I see to recall something similar happening to May a few years ago. Bizarre decision.
  14. Draper should have got 1 week. - "WE WILL NOT TOLERATE PUNCHING - NOT A GOOD LOOK FOR THE GAME" Rioli should have 2 weeks. - "WE WILL PROTECT THE HEAD. IF YOU JUMP OFF THE GROUND WE WILL NOT TOLERATE IT" Mitch Robinson should have been cleared. "???" The Sloane one, I'm comfortable with a fine I think. "FACE AND EYES WILL BE PROTECTED" What a horrible way to start the year for the AFL and tribunal. - GREAT SUMMATION OF THE HYPOCRISY OF THE AFL / MRP / TRIBUNAL
  15. well it is one or other of those options
  16. Hawkins regularly recklessly clobbers opponents with forearm or elbow. Is every time an accident?
  17. Don't they realise that Riewoldt took the mark; didn't spoil it.
  18. Lots of ifs - Tomo going well AND TM struggling AND Weed not up to it. Mmmm, if all the ifs line up, maybe. Not highly likely though.
  19. Just watched the Kayo Mini WCE v GC$. Just emphasised the totally feral nature of the WCE "crowd" (a mere handful for season's opener at their home ground) - booing absolutely every goal by GC$ however achieved.
  20. โ€ฆ. and to EssUndone when they fielded a make up team ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿคฎ
  21. But does that beat โ€œKozzie buzzing around like a mozzieโ€? Truly cringeworthy. ๐Ÿคฎ
  22. GC$ over WCE could give it a push. Inane comments and a truly grating voice. Can anyone cite any positives?
  23. This is a real war of attrition - Port running out of players, but Hinkley is looking totally lost.
  24. This is quite a different contest now.
  25. Is there something that you know that the rest of us donโ€™t?
