IF Dees finish 3rd, probability is they will not play away from the G at all for remaining finals, even if they lose that first QF to Power. Will Play week 2 at the G, and then have Pies in Prelim at the G. All down to winning this week. If not then forget I spoke.

You make a good point that reflects Goody's approach to Max re: bringing in Grundy. Max says Goody said, "....I can get you a 7th AA Ruckman Blazer, or I can get you to be a 2nd Flag skipper. Which one do you want...?" Goody IMO is looking at how to get a flag and bugger the rest of the noise.

That's my reading too of Garry last night. I agree with everyhting he said , and the stats of Grundy being a target are a worry. He seemed close to deperate in his plea to give back Max his dominant role. This issue now smells a bit like petty going forward and de-stabilizing another strenght - our Flad standard defence.
