Funny isn't about the media and our crowd numbers. The next match is the Hawks home game but our compensation match for the NT game so we get in for nothing. The media will be carrying on about the hawks drawing better crowds and look where they are on the ladder. Being a footy commentator does not make you a rock scientist in fact most of them would struggle to be much at all if they had not had a player career.

It was also a 1.00 PM game which I think is a terrible time. You have to commit all day. 2.30 PM and you can count on at least another 5-6000.

For some time now I have been wondering about van R. After Thursday’s game my opinion has been confirmed. I don’t see him as more than being occasionally useful. He is not an A grade player. We are desperately short of KPF’s which is no secret, we have no choice but to keep playing him but IMO he is far from the answer.
