Find it hard to see us winning this game. No Oliver and tall forwards that cannot get a kick in football factory. It grieves me to say it but the guy who went home to mum has started to show some ability. He will be busting to play well against us. The last two weeks we have been carrying Chandler and Spargo needs to fire up he did little last week of note. At present I just see too many players playing well below their best.

All the above doesn't matter, the pies have won 2 games more than us and yet to play eagles, roos or hawks. appear to be playing with way more confidence. I might add they played for a month without a ruckman.

I don't rate us, we had the near perfect season in 2021. Game plan had not been worked out, a number of players played together at their peak and almost no injuries. Hopefully I will be proved wrong but the next 3 matches will show if we are genuine GF participants. At present we look like the Dogs won the flag when everything fell into place and then faded to makeing up the numbers in September.

You have missed a vital point in the above Richmond and the pies had long periods where they won many games without winning the flag. While we were winning a handful of games a season they were wining 80-90 % of their games.
