I worked with Frank Adams and we became good friends over a long period of time. A nice guy who mostly played down his achievements. He told me lots of stories and was very good friends with Brian Dixon. He was very much in Norm Smiths corner about the MFC having to join the real world in the mid sixties but alas the MCC who ran the MFC in those days ( members only got to vote on two of the MFC board members ) continued on their way and here we are over half a century later still without a flag. In the late 80’s I remember Him telling the worst players Got more money in a month than he got all year. He was As you probably know on Channel 7 for years and was a successful business man but in today’s world he would have been a multi millionaire from football. Nice guy who I will never forget.

In case you are not aware willmoy I have canned him from day one. When he kicks the winning goal in the GF I am very happy for everyone to tell me I told you so.

Why risk Gawn give him another week off, we have won the last two games without him both by 9+ goals.

In a couple of the lost games he was the only forward earning his keep. The only reason he won’t be in against the dogs is if he needs a rest.

Is the tread to have a whinge in when we have just beaten the pies by 9 goals and everything is going well. Cannot bring myself to feel anything other than joy this morning.

I guess this is the result of starting the season playing poorly but according to my tv guide we are again a Foxtel game. Strange that Collingwood is not on FTA. I think we will have to make the GF to get a FTA game.

He captained a 10 goal ( well almost ) win!!!!!! Yes as I said earlier Spargo earned his keep.

Well having only seen the highlights it is hard to judge but as much as it embarrasses me to say it Spargo earned his spot last night it would appear.

North were down to 20 players for most of the last half, but ten goal wins are good under any conditions.

My Dad told me a long time ago that poorly skilled sides can match it with better teams by determination and effort but by the time the last quarter rolls around they get tired and superior skill takes over. IMO that is what has happened the last two weeks. Now for the pies!

And he is still not an AFL player as I said at the time when you are his size you have to have very good skills. He does not and will never make it.
