They were having trouble protecting the quarter back for the first three quarters and could not get going. A bit better protection in the last quarter and WHAM.

I don't think so Vagg but you are correct there was a 3AK. It became one of the FM stations when FM arrive I think was at one point part of the channel 9 group.

It is the time of the football year when clubs/players feel obliged to increase the hope of supporters. Talk is the only thing they can do at this time. I don't mind it, saying that probably means I need a little encouragement as well.

Have only ever watched it on tv and it is just too fast for me add all the constant player changes and I am left totally confused. By comparison baseball is easy.
