Hawkins is no where as mobile of the Weid. I don't ever see him being forcefull. What I see is a guy who is just too nice.

I just don't see the mad hunger to kick goals that good KPF shows e.g. I think it was the last game against Essendon he takes the ball 20 metres out from Goal no one behind or in front of him instead of kicking the goal he hand passes to Hunt who runs in and kicks the goal. Every Good KPF I know does not hand off those goals they kick them, they want the goal against their name and believe no one can do it better than me. I just don't see That hunger in the Weid. I just don't see him demanding the ball.

Could well be right QD we have had plenty of experience with that same problem. By those standards we are now run by a team at the level of genius

We have never looked like replacing the 40+ goals he kicked in 2018.

Do we know why North want him gone so badly. Players who regularly kick 40+ goals don't grow on trees.

As a number of people have said is about a number 30 on our list. Too inconsistent. He is one of those players that is good at VFL level but not good enough senior level. He has had his chance, go or stay I don't really care either way. If we ever make a GF he won't be in the 22.

They are very good with there one dimension. The Weird is average with his. However I don't agree they are one dimensional.

I think on this occasion the AFL have the better hand to play. IMO if the union won't budge of salary levels or won't come down enough then the league simply reduces number of players on the list until the total dollars comes out where they want. Tell the union they can X players on y salary cap or x-30% players on y salary cap.
