I got the impression that the Crows worked him more harder with pressure than usual. Didn't faze him though.

Clarry needs to grow his hair longer to compete with Sloane.- Clarence Oliver
That is a negative move. Not clever at all.- Clarence Oliver
Strange move.- Clarence Oliver
Did Oliver start on the bench against the Hawks?- Clarence Oliver
I will start calling him Ollie the Eagle from now on.- Clarence Oliver
OK, how about like a giant willy wagtail flittering around the legs of cattle and catching the bugs disturbed from the grass as they lumber along?- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
Two Grimes and a half dozen Lamumba's do not equal a Hibberd.- Clarence Oliver
If the umps keep pinging him unjustly for throwing they are just as likely to ignore voting for him. Sad.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
I remember watching him play in his Essendon days. He was the defender who stood out the most other than Hurley. His kicking was amongst the best in the AFL. Glad he still has the touch. Surprised Essendon let him go so easily.- Clarence Oliver
He must have the peripheral vision of a bird of prey. Sees the best option without turning his head and lightning response. Totally aware what's happening around him all the time.- THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Hird and the Colombian connection. http://www.theage.com.au/sport/reclusive-james-hird-spruiks-his-cacao-hunters-australia-chocolate-on-gay-and-lesbian-radio-20170422-gvq91b.html- THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Thompson must know a lot what has happened at his club and at other clubs as well. Same as Dank, Hird etc. A lot of this has to do with being caught whilst others have gotten away with it. They are mightily [censored] off that they may be the scapegoated and made examples of. Problem is they can't say more without incriminating themselves and perhaps other clubs (Geelong, GC?) and paying a much higher price be it admitting a crime, being sued and further trashing their dodgy reputations. Thompson also has a couple of flags to protect.- THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
It's just amazing, Dank, Hird, Thompson and others all know the truth and want it out but just can't seem to articulate it. It must be a terrible burden the verbal paralysis holding it all in against their will.- The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
The year we got Watts we also missed some great opportunities further down. We dudded with Bleese, Strauss and Bennell. We could have had Ballantyne, Shuey, D Beames, Sloane, M Walters, Zaharakis and Hannebery and a stack of other current good players. All these players came after Strauss and Bleese. We did get lucky with Jetta at pick 51.- The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
Those match ups 1-5 make me wince. Watts and NicNat would be at least a draw. The others 100 point thrashings.- The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
This thread is getting woefully off track. Time to pass this debate over to the St Kilda supporters forum. They still have a lot hand wringing to do.- Clarence Oliver
Though he seems generally placid on field I would love to see the convolutions, distortions and all round pretzel logic the MRP would dish up to get Martin off if he did a Lewis/Hogan jobbie. One for the ages just like the efforts the old tribunal used to do to help Nathan Buckley out of trouble.- When will Melbourne break these embarrassing records?
Jetta also started in 2009.- Clarence Oliver
The player Oliver reminds me the most is Greg Williams. DIfferent players from different eras but have similar impact around the stoppages. Quick of mind, hands and decision making.- THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Maybe Hun scribe James Hird will finally start telling the truth? About what happened at other clubs of course.
