  1. Jeez, at least this kid has a crack.

25 touches, easily the best for Melbourne. Easy to cringe when he kicks and he might not be as talented as most of our other players but he gives a s**t about us. Can't say the same about a lot of the others.

  2. MELBOURNE

Backs James Strauss James Frawley Nathan Jones

Half backs Colin Garland Jared Rivers Daniel Nicholson

Centreline Jack Trengove Jordan Gysberts Colin Sylvia

Half forwards Lynden Dunn Jack Watts Jeremy Howe

Forwards Brad Green Liam Jurrah Addam Maric

Followers Mark Jamar Brent Moloney Luke Tapscott

Interchange Matthew Bate Jordie McKenzie Stef Martin Ricky Petterd,

Emergencies Clint Bartram Max Gawn Tom McDonald

    In Liam Jurrah

    Out Jamie Bennell

    Good stuff.

  3. Would be a good fit at GWS. They'd hardly ask (for the sake of this I won't mention a certain Demon) Callan Ward, for example, to be captain. He could be there for two to three years, helping the young guns come through. Like Campbell Brown last year.

  4. Eth, I'm gald you didn't count looking through Ricky Petterd's window as seeing him in his civvy's!

I've seen a number of the younger female Home & Away actresses in their civvy's. It was just a pity that the only time they saw me was when they were slapping an AVO on me. What is stalking anyway? I prefer to call it looking from afar.

Trust me, there's only one player that I know what suburb they live in, and it isn't Ricky.

90% sure I walked past Robert Walls in the CBD two weeks back as well. I was tempted to ask how many votes Judd and Murphy would tie on for the Brownlow :)

  5. Petterd is one of our more creative players. When given the odd spell in the middle he really gets active. I'd like to see this more regularly, especially when he is having trouble getting involved down forward.

He split his time fairly equally between the midfield and the forward line. Good to see how well he can perform in both areas.

Loved the dummy he pulled when he kicked that poster :)

  6. Bate and Dunn Showed they aren't finished as players yet .

Collingwood has Brown ,T.Cloke ,Leon Davis and Buckley in their team

All duds for years on end until now

Agree with Brown and Buckley. Cloke won a Copeland at 20 and Davis was a good goalsneak who dropped off but reinvented himself as a half-back.

  7. I refuse to give Green votes. He was selfish and soft today. Really really struggling, and it hurts me to say because I really admire him.

    6- Jones

    5- Rivers

    4- Petterd

    3- Howe

    2- Martin

    1- Tapscott

Yeah, I did the same. Half his goals came from advantage, and the rest of the time he was soft.

  8. Scully out of Sunday's team btw - knee again.

I remembered it as a back injury...

Can anyone give me a quick recap? Is it an aggravation of the same knee problem, or is it something new and not so bad?

    I should know this...

  9. Neil Craig has openly said that Vince is slow. By body moreso than mind and with the increased pace of the game he is getting caught out. Opposition teams have him figured. No thanks. Keep growing our own until we are well and truly IN the finals before we start trading for needs!

    Apparently he's lazy too.
