I would seriously question Hunt being a core player. We all love the pace, the torps and the headband, but he's back to routinely murdering the footy and bombing it in long to no-one. It's not good enough. Literally the only argument I can see for him right now is how lacking we are in outside run. That alone can't be enough for where we are at and where we want to go. He needs to improve quickly because his season thus far has been disappointing considering his trajectory last year.

They will come out all guns blazing trying to prove they aren't the rabble everyone suspects them to be. Weather the storm in the first quarter then put the foot down. We should really be winning this one comfortably.

I thought that was one Hannan’s best games for the club, if not his best. Didn’t fumble or panic under pressure. Made smart decisions, executed well and hit the scoreboard. He almost always does one or two things in a game that shows his class but this was a good all round performance. He may never become a permanent fixture but he is the quality of player we need on the fringes to be a decent finals side.

I wouldn’t underestimate the impact he had today. He was a team lifter. Used it really smartly and finished off the hard work early when others couldn’t. Like Fritzel he’s looking an excellent pick up

I cant remember a Hunt kick that wasn’t a shank. Stretch looked out of his depth. Maybe the occasion got to him. I can’t be bothered thinking any further about who comes out. Kudos to those who can. I guess it's a matter of how often it happens to particular teams. Carlton isn't the most flattering team to be sharing a sentence with.

I don't trust them in terms of within games or week to week, though I still think we'll play finals this year. Perhaps foolishly on the evidence of Sunday afternoon. Certainly I don't see talent on the list being an issue anymore. It's now a matter of coaching, structures, mindset etc. All of which is now under the microscope. Supporting this club is one monumental mindf***.

Have seen the game and though he won’t be dropped after kicking four goals, Buggy made quite a few simple skill errors that could’ve been costly against a greater opponent. I say that as a Bugg fan and I believe they are things he is capable of tidying up. But he needs to do so, otherwise it sounds like a bloke called Harley Balic is putting his hand up in the twos. Still, our record with Bugg in the side this season is two from two
