  5. Thinking similar, pick 2 for 6 and 10 from collingwood who could then offer pick 2 and shaw for pick 1?
  6. Viv is a dee as reported on trade radio just then pick 54 or something... http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-10-16/michie-becomes-a-demon
  7. ^-- this..... more like for Dangerfield
  8. im all for trading pick 2 for 2 picks in the top 20.... like 8 and 17 or something....
  9. What I dont get is why dont Richmond take TA and a lower pick for Dusty? Actually, while i think about it, why dont they just do Dusty and their 1st round pick for pick 1? Doing another team a favour doesnt make sense and if anything, makes me feel like we will be shafted in some horrible way... Guess i need more info on why this, while sounding exciting, is probable I also forgot to thank Demoneyes for the info and appologise for an issue i see to essentially be maths based.... why make an equasion more dificult than you have to if it's already possible to balance both sides? edit note - manners
  10. yep, I tried to word my comment in a manner which didnt seem like stating the enevitable but to promote thought... guess i need to work on it.
  11. Amused that he had to say that... does it, in it's self imply that there will be an anoucemnet soon?
  12. FWIW I was 1 of the 100 or so people there yesterday (from 9 till 12'ish). It's difficult to quantify what I saw against other training sessions as i haven’t been to one for 4'ish years. So all I really have a note was on my own perspective coupled with a dose of assumptions. For those who have been more please feel free to add to my thoughts. I can agree with most note about players attributes etc etc but the biggest thing I left yesterday with was around the full match simulation stuff early on. There was some eye rolling and general cynicism between my dad and another gent watching that we are in for another scrappy/poor year. Later as we were leaving there was a full ground transition drill which I thought the ball hardly touched the ground and the skills in general were very good (side note, was impressed how hard Watts would push back for the drill restart, good practice as a back getting back?). This has all lead me to the conclusion the earlier full ground match sim is as much if not more (considering it directly followed the tackling drill) for pressure acts (tackling / structures / etc) than ball movement. With this second side of the coin thought in mind, if the pressure on display in the full ground match is anything to go by, we will be a much harder team to score against this year which is half the battle. Lastly, a note re rucks. I don’t recall in the match sim work any actual ruck contests, most of it was like shadow boxing with he winner predefined by Craig. So I am a little confused by earlier comments as to who is the better?
  13. not next year but if there are 2 years of penalties, then billy stretch says hello.
  14. TD that was most sensible grounded post I have read on this whole fiasco... and I have now read hundreds.
  15. Why is gys the only player that I feel we will regret letting go? (this is not to say we will... just saying)
  16. I don’t know if it has been mentioned anywhere else but I am of the opinion that we will only be using pic 4 as our live pic, then JV then PSD pick #3 as our 3 draft picks...? do we think we will be picking into the 50's?
  17. chat also said it's possible we will get a 1st rounder for riv and moloney
  18. baring injuries Gumby > Daws imo Thant said, only need to gamble on him for 1-2 years, if = fail then bring in the Hulk
  19. Us to force GC's hand on pick 2 (i am not even sure if i am joking)
  20. and to segway, that’s exactly why we should take Viney regardless of the pick position.
  21. Thanks for the update Still, picking him at 13 would be appealing. At least we know he has talent and is not 100% out of his depth at this level which is more than you can say about what will be 95% of people coming out of the draft.
