did anyone see ch7 sport last night. They showed a clip fron Jonno Brown when he was miked up for his game against richmond. He was caught sledging Pettard when he was the loose man back in defence. Brown was basically telling him to earn a kick instead of chasing the easy ones and told him to actually man up on an opponent and said this is why the dees got rid of you.

Hogan, who has not played this season due to a back injury, will return to Perth for a couple of weeks as he rests before resuming his active rehabilitation according to the club. Is that a good idea to sit on a plane for 3 hours with a back injury. I get the club probably want him to get away from there and be around his family but wouldnt that make it worse.

They showed roos at 3/4 time talking to Howe and Watts on game day this morning. Obviously they didnt follow Roos's instructions on what they were meant to do and team instructions. Because after roosy left them he was just shaking his head as if to say my god what is wrong with you. Interesting to hear on radio today they were talking about Watts and some other players and they said watts is such a good runner and has the motor but just doesnt do enough in games. Said he should be shown footage of himself near contests where he doesnt work hard to get there quick enough and contest.

Garland has to come back in. I was thinking tonight we dont have anyone good to come back in. But I forgot about Col. We need his experience in the backline. Kent if fit has to come in as well.

watts ive noticed looks at the player rather where the ball is or is going. He had a chance to tackle tonight but instead was looking at his opponent making sure he was covered instead of doing the right thing. He could have gone harder for a contest as well. He always looks for body contact in a marking contest and always turns around to see what heat is coming. I try to defend him but sometimes he just makes it to hard.

I thought Matt Jones was great tonight, Pedo at least contested for the ball and yes he did his usual stuff ups but not as bad as other weeks, McDonald is a great defender but I hate when he has the ball. His disposal is shocking. Dawes just runs his guts out and doesnt give up, I wonder if he goes home and puts on the 2010 grand final just to put himself in happier times. Howe, I wonder whats going on. He got put forward tonight and he isnt doing his lead up anymore. Took a nice mark but needs to do more. Dunn I thought just worked hard and played really well. Play him full games now, he was calm under pressure and that goal he kicked was great, very unlucky not to have a 2nd goal. He had a handy 6 touches and took 3 marks. He took more marks in a quarter and a half then Nic Nat has taken in 4 matches. Sorry couldnt help myself. But so far he looks like he belongs. Its good having the number 3 out there again.

I dont mind seeing the captains with there photos outside the shrine. I think thats more the newspapers wanting that photo. I think its important that people know all about Anzac Day and the different battles that went on. I worked with someone at the start of the week who didnt even know Anzac Day was today. I have friends in there 30's who dont even know what Kokoda was all about and if I asked them what ANZAC stood for I dont think they would know. What I dont agree with is the AFL doing the ANZAC ceremonies at each ground. Last year we had sunday games and were still doing the ceremony. It just didnt feel the same. ANZAC day is Anzac day and the ceremony should be for that day only.
