NON-MFC: Round 17, 2022
I'm looking forward to tonights game. Obviously nths performances will be interesting. If the poes do a demolition job then Noble may be gone, but who would want that job?

Our kick out strategy
It has been my biggest bug bear for awhile. I watch other clubs do it well and I always think why can't we do it. Steven May was asked on radio why he always kicks the same way out to where Max usually is and he just replied well the ruckman is there and it works. Sometimes I think we need to change it up and not become predictable. That's partly why I enjoyed it when May was out because other players had a different strategy.

Oh more great news Dangerfield is going the 7 commentary team. Does Nathan Jones still do commentary for them?

Ugh was last night a nightmare. Yze needs to have a strong meeting with our midfield. They were smashed last night

Farewell Luke Jackson
Id be disappointed. If you listen to the media he's gone. He either wants to go home or he doesn't. But I feel he can learn so much more from Max and even be our number 1 ruckman. Its a bit frustrating drafting these perth boys. I know other interstate players leave to go back home but I just feel the WA boys want to go back more. If we lost both Gus and LJ I'd be really shattered. That would feel more a kick in the guts when players were walking when we were bad.

I love max but compare tonights game to his last 2 against the cats was chocolates to boiled lollies. But I'm sure he'll be better for the run

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Yep and it was worse because he went with a dumb dribble kick. I really hope Goody shows this.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
So if you didn't know the result, but were told Hawkins and Cameron kicked 1 between them you would have just assumed we'd won.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Maybe we should have left weiderman in & only bought back one of gawn or Jackson. Viney wasn't the same player as the past few games

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Just frustrating to have the chance to go 2 games clear of them, instead we lose top spot

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
So everyone, when we get a club members survey, put on it somewhere we never want to play, nor we should have to play there again.
