The Queens birthday clash has been great for the club over the years as far as exposure and dollars, but i feel we should do a bit more with the day. On SEN today they were saying that there was no publicity before the game,and the Demons should promote it more,ala Anzac day and The indigenous game. We should have TV Commercials before hand and promote it as a great tradition between the 2 clubs day, honoring both teams past players and the history of the game. There possibly should even be a medal, maybe the Peter Moore medal awarded the the best player on the day. Another thing they said on SEN is that perhaps they should rotate the day and give it to Carlton next year,(turn it up!!) Just think we could do more since we have the stage. Thoughts?

Jack has been very ordinary the last couple of weeks, not playing in front,falling over himself. seems disinterested.

First of all they wont drop Dunn, he is number one for marks this year. I would like to see Cheney, Watts or Gysberts come in,but who to drop? P. Johnson,Bartram,Rivers - one,two, or all three of these is my guess,although it would be too much of a risk to drop a ruckman against this mob.

I think Junior can go on for another year maybe 2. His form warrants it and if he can stay fit? Another Michael Tuck. So we not have to pick for another 2 seasons. By then we will know who is the best leader out of Grimes, Watts,Scully and Trengove.

Bruce has been one our most consistent performers this year. Cant believe the knockers on this site. He has another 3 years in him for sure.
