Could Bizzell play CHF?

I think our drafting in 2004 will be seen as a stroke of genius in coming years. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Bate and Dunn could've been drafted in 2005. We let them develope for a year in 2005 and then unleashed them in 2006 along with Jones and Bartram. When these guys get a few more games under their belt and continue their improvement we should have a very nice engine room for many years to come. I think ND's careful planning and willingness to always look to the future is why he is the coach for us. He could've done a Sheedy and loaded up on used cars over the trading period in the last year of his contract. However he stuck to his guns in the best medium to long term interests of the club. This will probably hurt him in the long run as most supporters believe it is flag or bust for him this year. Unfair IMO.

I know it's not but I'm still worried. With him we finish 3-6, if he misses long parts of the season we finish anywhere between 6th and 12th. He is our most important player imo.

I'm very worried about Brock. If we are going to do anything this year we need him to play as many games as possible. I very much hoping he isn't injury prone throughout his career. He may well be the best midfielder we've had in many a year. Sylvia's constant injury concerns are also a big problem.

I reckon the AFL should ditch the NAB cup and make the season 30 weeks long. Increase the lists by a few players and have a rule in place that says each player can only play 25 games during the regular season.

Surely we wouldn't play Neitz. I thought we weren't going to bother with the NAB cup until the later rounds, should we make it. I reckon playerss like Yze, Bruce, Neitz and Ward will miss.

Welcome aboard mate. When I went to England a few years ago I was in a similar position and ended up really loving the EPL and getting along to quite a few Arsenal games. I think it's more about the whole day - meeting at the pub for a while before the game and then screaming for 2-3 hours. Great fun and a good release. Hope you enjoy the game. I reckon I'll probably PVR all of the games and perhaps watch the good ones during the week when there is nothing on - which is generally every single night unless you like cop shows and hospital shows, which I don't.

Some of the games I went to this year, particularly at the start of the season were absolutely terrible. The first game we played against North Melbourne springs to mind. Despite the win in that game I could hardly muster a cheer at the end. I just wish they would stop introducing a new rule each year and let the game settle down a bit. This years new push in the back rule is going to annoy the living bejebus out of everyone IMO, it seems like you won't even be able to stand at thye back of a contest if the ball is sailing over your opponents head. Having said all this I think it's great that all 8 games will be on FTA TV, if you don't want to watch a game nobody is going to force you to.

I saw our president in the Birdcage on Oaks Day - I'd had a couple by then so said "Love your work Paul" and he said thank-you and kept walking.

Went to U2 last night and three rows behind me were Neitz, Nicho, Brock, Biz, Rivers and Robbo. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves. Probably the most enjoyable time they've had at Telstra Dome this year! All seemed to be enjoying the show - clapping, saw Neita singing etc. None were drinking which was good to see I guess.
