Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
I don't think Peter Lawrence is at fault. He merely wanted better governance and has spent years passionately and financially supporting the club. Both AFL and AFLW programs. By the end of the recent court proceedings, the board had accepted almost all of his requests. The club did not need to waste time and money, and undermine our brand. All they needed to do was accept the better governance positions in the first place. And weirdly, they didn't.

Disagree, but we'll leave it at that.

Is there fault on both sides?

Hopes for 2025
So many Melbourne supporters I know refer to JVR as VDR or Vanders. It's very strange. His name is Jacob van Rooyen. I'm surprised @Demonstone lets this pass.

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 5
Langford is 190cm and Lalor is 187cm.

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 5
Lalor has more the rapid rise like Clarry IMV. I'm split on Langford and Lalor.

Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
I'd like a PJ review from top to bottom and Al Nicholson to become CEO. That'd be nice.

Our NGA next year. Plays for Dandy Stingrays. Forward/ruck. Big lump of a lad.- Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
You do realise the board is bigger than Roffey... none of them can be unbiased.- Christian Petracca
They ended up losing by 4 and a bit goals, but your point stands mate. I don't completely agree with it. I'd much prefer we had the Geelong and then Hawthorn cultures of their dynasties that saw them take unders, so they could continually strengthen their lists.- NON-MFC: Finals Week 01
I suppose the AFL doesn't want a half empty ground for a final. With a capacity of 23,500, they're a chance of filling it.- NON-MFC: Finals Week 01
Giants home ground.- NON-MFC: Finals Week 01
Now we just need Geelong and Hawthorn knocked out and I'll be happy.- Trade Targets
Isn't Newman a brilliant kick though? Sets up so much of their play. We need more kicks at half back like that.- Christian Petracca
We talking Bont here?- Christian Petracca
Oooh. You know who would be handy in our midfield? 🤣- 2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Ah, I didn't realise he was an underager, but that makes sense given there's no talk about him in the 2024 crop. Derps. 🤦 Moves a lot like his bro last year. Classy, clean, makes good decisions. Surely will be top 10 next year, unless it's the greatest class of all time or something happens injury wise.- Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver
Best midfielder in the game between 2021-2023.- 2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Duursma was best on ground for mine. By quite a way.- NON-MFC: Finals Week 01
Hogan, Cadman, Greene and Jones are a handful and are going to be hard to stop for the next 2-3 years.- Andrew McQualter - Appointed coach of the West Coast Eagles
Good call mate.- 2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Riak did quite well 1v1, his defensive positioning is still a little rusty, but he's clean at ground level and a neat kick. He was solid. Ah-Mu is just a big boy, but I like his tackling intent, he's a good mark and he's a good kick. Kicked a ripper that ended up being the winning goal. I do worry about his pace at AFL level, but maybe he's not much slower than a McLean from Sydney.- 2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Interesting. I missed the first quarter where it said Hynes had 2. He then kicked the first goal of the last quarter. Since I didn't see the first quarter, I can't confirm.- 2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Good goal from Ah-Mu. 3 for him now and 3 for Hynes. - Hopes for 2025
