It is true and it's bizarre decision making. Like dragging things through the Federal Court earlier this year, only to accept almost all of Peter Lawrence's recommendations anyway.

Yep, would be brilliant @dazzledavey36. 👏 Your main midfield is Viney, Oliver, Rivers, O'Sullivan/Langford/Lalor, with pinch hitting support from Kozzy, Trac, Hynes, maybe even McVee, and defensive role players like Sparrow. That's a powerful and dangerous midfield.

That's definitely true. I think the idea that we shouldn't have put a huge contract to Clarry is hindsight 20-20 stuff, but that we didn't (seemingly) put in strong legal clauses in that contract is the blight.

I think too often we play the mental health card in society. It is obviously a factor, but it is also a crutch for unaccpetable behaviour. So yes, I'll continue the discussion. :P

So maybe Teague comes in as ball movement and midfield coach, Bassett to the backs and Chaplin to the forwards. Chaplin was our forward coach when we were the highest scoring team in 2018. It then becomes a very different looking game style we're playing, but with better defensive personnel than we had in 2018.

I want Pert gone, but there's no way Pert is acting on his own here. Sure, the FD may not be for it, but what about our board? If you're shopping around one of your highest paid players without board approval, you may as well tender your resignation. People need to be a little bit smarter about this.
