For the past two years we lose games like this. Throw your house at Port.

See Richmond 2019 and 2020. We are miles ahead of where they were this deep in the season. We don't look great and like them we are only 1-2 losses away from losing a grasp on the top 4. But 2-3 strong wins including this week sets us up. Richmond were 11-6 after 18 rounds in 2019.

Port must be filthy with that Pickett goal. He was the only player that went after the ball.

Hibberd has been good since he returned.

50 was there. If you impact player's ability to play off mark then you infringed. Harsh but there.

Sparrow is lucky to have survived this long in the team.

Port are one of the worst scoring teams in the league. But they have a solid defense. If we lose to this mob it's a genuine concern around our top 4 credentials.

- NON-MFC: Round 18, 2022
Collingwood ability to win has been quite impressive. I've been saying for a while they are a genuine flag smokey. Probably won't win it but they are firmly in top 4 contention now and could well replace one of Melbourne or Brisbane. The final round of Melb v Brisbane, Coll v Carlton could well decide the top 4. Geelong ending their year with WC at GMHBA is just so [censored] typical.- Farewell Luke Jackson
If Freo give us Brayshaw as part of any Jackson trade, we'll have to give up more. Way more. Freo isn't giving up one of the top 5 players in the game for a 20 year old who will barely crack top 15 in the B&F. Just a reality.- Lloyd Meek
If Preuss can stay on the field for more than a few weeks at a time he stands to be a premier ruckman. It wasn't so long ago that Gawn was smoking darts after training and could barely string more than 5 consecutive games together. Once the momentum picked up towards the end of 2015 it never stopped. Preuss can be the same. I don't get the ridicule aimed at the bloke around here and the footy community.- Farewell Luke Jackson
Scott Thompson comes to mind? Was prepared to stay if Melbourne weren't satisfied with what Adelaide could provide in return. I think Melbourne still bended over. Not unreasonable or uncommon for people to want to leave work places they enjoy/love (I did recently) for another that is more suitable to your needs. It is your career after all and you have to weigh up everything. It stands to benefit Melbourne that he's actually *happy* here as he wouldn't want us to be absolutely shafted. He's also holding Freo to account if it's true. No one should lose out here. - NON-MFC: Round 18, 2022
