  1. Hunter shouldve had a ping.
  2. You're not following.
  3. Yes I know that. I'm saying that, I'd rather face Brisbane in a QF, than the prospect of *losing* against Collingwood and then being on a pathway to going to the Gabba in a PF. The pathway to the is GF is easier if you win the QF, obviously. But I'm thinking of the pathway if we lose the QF. And that pathway is easier if we play Brisbane week 1.
  4. Might be unpopular but I'd actually rather Port lose and we win. It's either Brisbane at the Gabba in a QF, and then a pathway back to what will likely be 2-3 games at the MCG. Or, potentially a Gabba Prelim. Which is way harder. Granted I am more confident of a Pies QF win than a Brisbane Gabba QF win, but Brisbane won't lose a Prelim at the Gabba. EDIT: Also, you'd rather face the prospect of Brisbane at the Gabba with a second chance, then Brisbane at the GABBA in an elimination game.
  5. People saying the outcome doesn't matter. We have to and should win. Regardless of other outcomes. We need to go into games against Brisbane or Collingwood with a win. A loss just gives them added mental benefit. Need to shut down the crowds early and quickly.
  6. did they not tip melbourne in 2021? or geelong last year?
  7. He's not quite soulless undertaker of the underworld ginger like Oliver or Bowey, but he's at the very least gatekeeper servent of hell ginger.
  8. BUT *is* he the right guy?
  9. Schache showed enough for me to know he ain't up to it. In the last he showed a fraction of the energy and run that Melksham, Jordan, Smith have shown all year. When they have come on as subs they absolutely throw themselves at it even when the ball seems lost. It's called pressure. Schache played today like a player who had already played three quarters. Except he played only one. In one particular moment he flat out stopped running on a chase... Never again, please. Regardless of other results, I'd play Fritsch next week. Needs the run. Then maybe consider him for a game for Casey during the pre-finals bye. I would also seriously consider Pickett as the sub.
  10. Biggest callout for me wasn't even how we played. It was the support from fans. Reckon we out numbered them 3:1 but they were way louder. We didn't make noise until Petracca's goal which was the last goal of the game.
  11. Quality of Hawks supporters near me... gee whiz they're an arrogant bunch. Started giving it to them near the end after hearing it from them for three quarters... especially aimed at Gawn and... JVR, for some reason?
  12. Just like the Carlton game.......
  13. Tomlinson has been good.
  14. lol Hawks supporters around me booing that. No eyes on ball. Made contact. Most obvious free kick of the year.
  15. He's been good but so has McVee. Melksham has gone through three Hawks defenders.
  16. We've undoubtedly lifted this quarter but we are gifting them goals.
  17. Someone is smoking a massive blunt outside gate 6. Smells like Bob Marley took a [censored] on the grass.
  18. Melksham is destroying Sicily and should have 4 goals already.
  19. Hawks are absolutely primed to win this. Look like a finals side.
  20. Kozzie's goal. Impey ran off him and he jogged behind. Impey got the ball and set up the play. We're playing very lazy, make no mistake.
  21. And then gets beaten by a 12 year old in a marking contest.
  22. May, Salem, Rivers and McVee all having great games.
  23. Really disappointing. Thought we'd jump them.
  24. He had no where to go.
