  1. Kookaburras bounce back with a vengeance, with a 5-0 win over New Zealand! Sets up an important final group match against India to try and give them as good a draw as possible for the Quarter Finals.
  2. Bronze to Australia with Jemima Montag in the Womens 20km walk. A pretty gruelling competition. Amazing effort!
  3. Our 3x3 Basketball team kicks the day off with another victory. This time 21-15 over China. They play again later in the day against USA. But they've recovered well so far after their ordinary first up loss to Canada.
  4. And another silver to Kyle Chalmers! Amazing to medal in the same race at 3 consecutive Olympics.
  5. Silver medal to Zac Stubblety-Cook. A great effort in defending his Tokyo crown.
  6. Jess Fox you star! Defends her title and gets her 2nd Gold of the games!
  7. Our Women in the 3x3 Basketball have bounced back for a 21-19 victory over Germany. Played much better than they did yesterday against Canada. Was good to see a strong response.
  8. Another Bronze Medal coming up to Penny Smith in the trap shooting!
  9. That was a tense victory! I thought they were going to drop it after Netherlands levelled with 40 seconds to go. Penalty shoot out is always a tough way to lose!
  10. Hockeyroos with a 3-0 win over USA! They were a little sloppy at stages, but got the job done which bodes well with them undefeated after 3 matches. Good to get the early win today after the issues our teams had yesterday.
  11. More Bronze to Australia! This time Nat Diehm in the Womens BMX. Great performance!
  12. Bronze to Australia! Well done to the mens 4x200m Freestyle relay team getting our first bronze medal of the Olympics.
  13. Bad evening for our teams overnight with the Kookaburras coming back to earth with a thud, beaten 2-6 by Belgium. Sharks kicked the day off for us with a stunning win, but all our teams lost for the day after that. Thank goodness Kaylee McKeown ended the day off brilliantly for us!
  14. Gold for Kaylee McKeown as she defends her 100m Backstroke title. She motored home in the last 25 meters!
  15. Disaster for our Rugby 7's girls with a loss in the Bronze Medal match to USA. They just didn't play well today compared to the previous two days. Gold medallists in Rio, to failing to win a medal at the next two games.
  16. Well it's happened again. We've had another team lose to Canada today. Our Womens 3x3 Basketball team got done 14-22. Couldn't buy a shot in the early stages of the game and the end margin probably flattered them. Not sure what's with all the loses to Canada today???
  17. Bad day for our teams in matches against Canada with our Rugby 7's girls losing their Semi Final. Still a chance for our first Bronze of the games against USA in a few hours. Tegan Levi had an absolute shocker!
  18. Unfortunate loss for the Boomers against a very strong Canada team 83-93. We were right in it, but went cold in the final quarter. A win in their final group match against Greece will assure a Quarter Final spot.
  19. Amazing victory to The Sharks as you say Macca. Don't know if anyone saw this coming?
  20. Mariafe/Clancy lose 16-21, 16-21 to USA. Not all lost as a win in their next match will guarantee them a spot in the final 16. As I said last match, they're not playing as well as they did at Tokyo, however they can build into this tournament. USA are one of the Gold medal favourites in the Beach Volleyball.
  21. Yep. It's been a tough day for the Irish, losing to our Rugby 7's girls twice in the one day! Plus their mens Hockey team also lost to the Kookaburras today. Our girls have Canada next in the Semis. Win that and it's a Silver medal at worst.
  22. Gold to O'Callaghan and Silver to Titmus. Great effort girls. I think we can put the women's 4x200m Freestyle relay gold in the books now as well.👍
  23. Statement win for the Hockeyroos with a 4-0 drubbing of Great Britain, a team that's medalled at the last 3 games. Fingers crossed they can keep this form going.
  24. Silver medal to Australia in the Equestrian!
  25. The Rugby 7's girls go through undefeated with a 19-14 win over Ireland. They weren't as sharp tonight, but with top spot already secured and Ireland needing a good result to make the Quarter Finals, the girls did what they needed to do. Quarter Final should be early this morning.
