  1. McKenzie is one of our most dedicated players, he does however seem to be nervous about disposal by foot and much prefers a handpass. Can we get him to the FARK academy that most of the forwards seem to have visited in the last few weeks? I was very impressed with accuracy up to the start of the fourth quarter, that is all that kept us in the game to that point as we had only half the scoring shots that the rabble did. As to ins, I would love to see Bail play again.
  2. Clever thinking and great effort in that goal.
  3. Fund raising for children who live along the Kokoda trail, the design is to reflect the jungle or camouflage I believe. It started last year.
  4. +1 If Jim says bring them we bring them. As he said, this is a night game so first opportunity to wear them, I guess there will be photos or video done at some point in the match and a call go out to turn them on, should look awesome if enough people bring them. Don't have to wear them all night, but please consider what Jim is asking for.
  5. I have 3 memberships in my house, myself, my 16 year old Year 11 and my 9 year old year 3. I went to the G for the game, but neither child attended. Also, what's with all the Sunday games anyway? We had a sh*tload last year and almost the same number this year.
  6. What about umpires who award 50m penalties for breathing on the back of a Crow?
  7. I will be there, but one child has work until 6 and the other is still at primary school. Who thought up a start at nearly 5pm on a Sunday as being family friendly?
  8. FYI the online site seems to be run by clubsonline.com.au which is a division of IMG. Anyone who has problems with the online side should report it to the Club so they have visibility of any problem and you would hope that the Club would own the problem, but put it on to clubsonline to fix.
  9. This was the first club function I have been to outside of game day events. I agree with the comments that Luna Park was cramped but I guess not a bad choice to encourage kids to attend. Given that the Junction Oval had the Sheffield Shield final on, and Casey is a big hike for most folks, it seemed a reasonable choice. I took my 9 year old boy in person and my 16 year old girl in spirit but she gave me explicit instructions to get Robbo's signature on her jumper. My son enjoyed it, even queuing to get autographs. Not happy that a few people jumped queues but that was a minor irritation. Robbo and Jamar were on the photo stand, $2 for a polaroid with them and was fantastic value, especially considering what I had heard about Richmond's family day a few months ago. There were plenty of players everywhere, all happy to give autographs or pose for pictures. Brock's shiny head was a shocker, but will give his opponents one more thing to worry about.
