Col G is good. Warnock just keeps doing the right things. Jimbob Frawley is getting better. JR should be our next captain in my opinion. Our problem is our forward line. Jack Watts. Did you actually read what I said? I didn't say he wasn't a great player. I said he wasn't a great Melbourne person.

Now I know I will have my head bitten off by all the old cronies here. But I simply cannot have Ron Barrassi anywhere near my top 5 Demons. He left the club at the peak of his powers for more money. He coached 2 other clubs to premierships while we sat at the bottom of the ladder for 20 years. No doubt he was a great player for us. The stats prove that. But to class him as one of our greatest people is simple wrong in my opinion. Robert Flower was great for that exact reason. Numerous occasions knocked back significant more money and reward (prob would have been a premiership player had he gone elsewhere). But I am pretty happy with the other four. And agree that Jim Stynes may well become (fingers crossed) a better administrator than player. For which I believe he is one of our greats.

6- Pettard (should have finished with 4 goals, and was good up forward) 5- Moloney (would have been my best player had he not handballed so much) 4- Bartrum (i know his skills weren't great, but his job today was to negate Harvey. And he kept him to 16 touches and no effectiveness) 3- CHeney (played the sweeping role effectively. Only a slight questio on his decision making) 2- McDonald (the general in the guts) 1-Frawley - (plenty of the ball from the backline- gonna get better)

You guys keep mentioning that he busts his guts and trying hard. I dont care. Trying hard doesn't win premierships. This is the mentality we need to change for our football club. I dont just mean this against Valenti as I am happy to give him a chance. But can anyone seriously see him helping us win a flag???

He's lucky to be in our best 44. Too small. Crap disposal. He's a good VFL player at best. He's not going to impact enough to make us a better side. So I don't know why we persist with him. I know this is a bit harsh, but Melbourne have too many players who we are carrying and are not up to the standard of any of the top 4 teams. So get rid of them I reckon.

Heater could prob play key position up forward. Charlesy will dominate off half back. Funky will play a role down back, and wolfgang is a serial pest if they have a gun needed to be tagged.
